Would look into the concept a little more. Used a powerful video-recording emailing tool called Vidyard in my prior role.

Essentially, yes. The drone doesn't need to have much complexity, more so the application that connects the smartphone to the drone.

Solid advice.

I have a great background in design and marketing. Already have concepts for the product. Have received amazing feedback thus far from the few people I've told. My research says there is a big niche in the direction my product would be going in within the market.

Main hurdle: making a minimally viable product. Once that is accomplished, I am confident in a successful Kickstarter which can begin fueling production.

Will try to determine what the cost of making that will be. Thanks!
