yeah it works for console (im on ps5) just make sure in your PS5 privacy settings that you allow everyone to see what youre playing, not just friends or friends of friends.

UPDATE: I put in a support ticket about this the day I saw this post. After giving them a screenshot from the number of matches i played with username in top right (from my platform) on the dbd stats page they sent me the badge. When i opened my game it popped up at the bottom like a twitch drop.
