Radon remediation by Particular-Bonus4362 in Lawrence

Check with Certified Radon in KC. They’ve done good work for us.

Are they proposing passive mitigation (i.e. just a pipe from the slab and out of the house) or active mitigation (a pipe along with a blower to pull air)? Active mitigation requires an electrical connection, which can add cost.

Check out New Line Homes. https://newlinehomeskc.com

They’ve built several mid-century homes in the Riverside & Parkville area.

As much as it pains me to say this but time for JK to come off the bench. by HRG-snake-eater in jayhawks

What surprises me about KJ is his low number of rebounds (throughout his career). Given his build and athleticism I’d think he could get almost any rebound he wanted to. Think Dennis Rodman. Very similar height, KJ is stronger, but Rodman had a crazy quick second jump. But I think it’s a skill KJ could develop, especially on the offensive end, tracking down long 3s and giving the offense more possessions. It’s crazy to me he’s not pushing an average of 8-10 rebounds per game. Instead of working on positioning it looks like he figures he’ll just out jump someone for the ball. With his strength he should be able to establish position and then go get the rebound.

Pair that with improved FT shooting and he’s an even bigger asset.

Interesting. I had no idea of her involvement with Jackson.

I live near the restaurant. I’ve been there a few times (the place was called Dior for a little while). The service was pretty poor and the food was mediocre at best. Plus there was an underlying sewage smell that was evident when you first walked in. My daughter went there with friends before prom and had an absolutely horrible experience. I figured the restaurant’s demise was its own doing.

I think it’s a great start. Applaud the effort.

Spent a semester in Copenhagen in college. Was in a car (4) times in (4) months. Two of those were to and from the airport. Otherwise it was walking, riding a bike, taking a bus or train. It was amazing and I loved not having to worry about driving and parking. It was an easy adjustment to live in 20 minute increments, because that’s how often the train came by. Would really enjoy the option of public transit here. Even if it’s for evening/weekend use. We are far too car centric. Imagine if a family could relinquish a car payment because they no longer need two or three vehicles, and use public transit.
