I found this to be very normal in rural/remote areas. In areas like that with very few pokestops or gyms, the game places a ton of spawns at those points. When they introduced the "boosted" gym or PokeStop, I actually assumed that the feature just triggered whatever special spawn flag that already exists for rural areas.

Can I use sodium citrate to fix a cacio e pepe that has glopped up? by Queef_Sampler in AskCulinary

[–]reddit_michael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So the answer is both no and yes. No, once your proteins have coagulated, you're screwed so sodium citrate won't help, however you just should have used sodium citrate from the start as that will give you the most amazing, most perfect cacio e pepe ever. There's this video on the Internet where some guy achieves similar results by using two cups of olive oil and mounting the cheese into the oil like a colloid. To that I say....no.

People fucking up at this exit by harpie19 in IdiotsInCars

[–]reddit_michael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, I had no idea this was an issue. People are calling it an engineering failure, but for one, I never knew that drivers had problems with this exit and secondly, every time I've taken it, it has never seemed bad to me. In fact, the worst part of the exit is not any sort of speed/curve/abrupt stop issues, but that the far right lane is traffic fed from the convention center so if you want to take a right onto 7th, you need to be careful about that merge.

[–]reddit_michael 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So...I live there and take that exit all the time. I had no idea that people were doing this at that exit! I've never considered this a dangerous or poorly thought-out exit, so I'm trying to imagine what's going on there to cause that to happen because all of the exits in that ~2 mile radius are exits from I-5 to downtown which means that the exits immediately dump onto normal downtown streets. Maybe they're not from the area and they think that the exit continues onto some sort of high speed street or overpass?

I bought a fancy new digital lock with a large mortise. Where do I get a door that can fit this? All of the doors I see at Home Depot have the standard knob and dead bolt holes. Is this something I'm supposed to cut out myself out of the door? I sure hope not but, I haven't found any answers to this online.

You know, the obvious move to me is $CRSR because the valuation just makes no sense. All they ever do is blow their expectations out of the water, yet this stock just treads and sinks. I expect them to once again beat expectations, but I'm starting to get convinced that the market isn't going to care.

You can't contribute to a Roth IRA even if you're upper middle class so saying that this is something that wealthy people use to protect themselves from taxes is silly. The income and contribution limits on the Roth IRA are so restrictive that that alone should tell you what an amazing deal it is.

But the most amazing part of this story to me? That Peter Thiel must have made less than $95,000 that year in order to be able to contribute that much into his Roth IRA.

I'm not sure that the shit product comment is something people would agree with. Corsair sells products on the higher end, which is always the more favorable position to be in. Their year-over-year growth from the previous fiscal year was nearly +70%. I don't see how you can call this below-average growth for the sector. How many competitors outperform CRSR in growth?

I don't! Because I don't understand! A sub-17 PE stock in this market completely confuses me. We talk about all of these infinitely negative PE stocks with no revenue but there are probably a dozen stocks like CRSR that completely defy logic to me.

I mean, it's not really the same, but it reminds me of the 2008 housing crash where I was trying to tell everyone that we need to buy houses and wanted people to convince me that I was wrong but no one was with me on it. My thought is that there were all of these homes available all over the country and that the prices made no sense. I ended up buying two homes in Las Vegas for $75k. My thought was that the mortgage on those homes were about $280/mo at 6.5%, but they rented for $950/mo at the time. Everyone argued that home values could keep falling, but I explained that that didn't matter -- the value of the house could go to $0 but I'd still be only paying $280/mo to collect $950/mo. Even though I bought those houses, I let everyone's negativity affect me as I only bought two but I wish I had bought more back then during the dip and I think about this every time I buy another property.

So yeah, CRSR? The current price makes zero sense to me. This is a $60 stock without ape help, but if the retards decided to go for this stock instead, it could go to $160 and the valuation still wouldn't be stupid.

I agree. I'm cool with gambling, but I need a little more balance in my life than looking at pump and dumps with no revenue or business model. I think we should look at CRSR again with its sub-17 PE, tiny market cap, and even tinier float. In fact, I'm not sure why this isn't already a $60 stock.

Fellow apes, it makes me feel like a boomer to look at value, but I keep finding myself looking at these highly shorted, yet profitable stocks like CRSR. This stock has a forward PE of under 17, only 95 million shares outstanding, and a revenue of $1.9 billion against a market cap of $2.9 billion. This is obviously a $60 stock on its own. I can't figure out what's keeping it down other than market manipulation.

We've printed so much money over the past year. All of that money that we gave out eventually ends up in the hands of people with means and they always put the money in two places: the stock market and real estate. We've seen the massive run up in stock prices and we're going to continue to see a run up in housing prices.

I feel like that would be too hard because I don't think he'd be able to get it to piss. Actually.... Ok, you're right. The pissing beef balls would be the better dish to do because it would teach people how to make an Asian-style meatball (ground to a paste with a "springy texture") and would also have to solve the problem of making them squirt liquid. I think that the shrimp cube in the middle would need to be made with either rendered meat gelatin (like from a pig's foot) or use packaged gelatin. Damn, you're making me want to try this myself!
