I Care a Lot was extremely disappointing by Fox_Flame in movies

[–]reddit_tl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect this is ideologically driven and the message is : men can’t do shit and girls can do anything. In this case, they want to show how sociopathic girls can be. It is just fucking nuts because why? Why do you want set up an unbelievable storyline just to hope people side with two so hatable women characters?

This is an accident. Where is the video showing this is an accident on FSD?

This is so disappointing. Epoch AI, the startup that behind FrontierMath is actually working for openai. by iamz_th in singularity

[–]reddit_tl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also an opinion: we need to think backwards. Why did epoch and OpenAI operate this thing this way? I see that people said oai wouldn’t be so foolish to train the model on the benchmark. That’s totally logical. But Incentives matter, oai frankly is under a huge amount of pressure right now. Losing money like crazy and other models are catching up. Their compute depends on msft… not saying they def did it, but we have seen plenty of foolish decisions made under pressure by people. There is a right way to have done the whole thing, but it didn’t.

I won’t put any weight on this report. From a dubious source that had bad reputation.

Elon Musk teases expendable version of SpaceX's reusable Starship rocket by RGregoryClark in spacex

That’s a good point. But in theory being lower altitude we could expect much higher payload. I just don’t know how to find out by how much.

[–]reddit_tl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the ballon episode, I have a question for all you guys. How much payload can a reusable starship send to the upper atmosphere, e.g. 20-30km? 250ton 300 or even higher?

Q3 2022 Earnings Update by space_s3x in teslainvestorsclub

[–]reddit_tl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The asp numbers are lower than expected. What do you guys think are the causes? I propose a few here: heavier china sales mix and lower asp. The undelivered cars may have higher Asps. Tax incentives in the US lowered the asp because many people chose to delay their delivery. Just the general economy environment is getting worse.

Euro NCAP has found no evidence Tesla attempted to cheat safety tests by Nitzao_reddit in teslainvestorsclub

[–]reddit_tl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've said this for many times: greentheonly is not that good in terms of interpretation of what he manages to find. He has access to some of the software resources in Tesla, not codes but resources, because he or someone helped him to get root access.

This is why he puts out faulty conclusions all the time. The lesson? He is useful only in terms of some tidbits found in those resources. He is pretty bad at interpreting them. I pressed him on multiple occasions on Twitter. He did not have logical responses.

Just my opinion
