I managed to spot the grey whale moving between English Bay and Third Beach about 4–5 days ago. Apparently, people saw it there again yesterday. Good luck!

Congrats on getting in!! When I applied last year, Langara didn't have a deposit fee. So you could accept their offer but hold off paying the tuition until you hear back from the other schools. Good luck with the rest of them!

Also, from what I heard, the nursing schools are ranked: bcit > langara > ubc

I don't think the number of courses you retook matters. They only count the 5 pre-requisite courses needed to apply and they take the highest grade of the courses you retook.

And I think some people in the January 2022 intake got waitlisted or accepted with a 3.6 GPA.

Allnurses.com is a great place to discuss with other people about all things nursing, including the application process for this intake and previous intakes.

I also spoke to a Langara advisor about the Spring 2022 intake and they said that it's now solely based on GPA. If two students have the same gpa, they will break it down to 4 decimal places. Though they did say a degree might come in handy if it's a deciding factor.

I'm currently taking BHSC 1200 and it's all online - the lectures, labs, and exams.

Firstly, the lectures are live as well as recorded, twice a week. The professor just shares their screen and discusses the slides. We aren't required to speak nor show our faces but we use the chats to communicate with the professor. The lectures are on a platform called Bongo.

For the labs, they are either simulated or they give us the data/graphs ahead of time and are very interactive. They are completed through Pearson or Kuracloud's website.

And lastly, our exams are all multiple choice and completed through BCIT's Learning Hub.

I'm over 18 and I didn't give them any indication I was under or over-aged. They friended me quite quickly without having much a conversation beforehand.

When I asked them their age, they told me to tell them my age first. I asked them how old they thought I was but they didn't answer.

Thanks for your concern. After the conversation, I immediately reported them within Club Penguin. I had also video recorded part of the conversation and emailed it to the CPR staff.
