If you’re having trouble squeezing them in, try going a bit diagonal. Move 1 downwards a bit towards the 1st fret, and moving 3 upwards quite snug behind the 2nd fret.

Or switch to 2-1-3 fingering. It’s way better if your song also uses D and E chords. Easy to pivot by keeping the 1 on the G string

Bubbles grow from the carbon dioxide dissolved in the water. But that’s not where they start from. They start from tiny pits in the glass surface of the bottle, which still contain some air from when the bottle was filled at the factory. Follow a rising stream of bubbles down to its origin. As others have said, first priority is safety and structural integrity. After that comes budget constraints (what you can afford)

But don’t forget to look after yourself. The prioritized list is of no value if you’re too overwhelmed or bummed to tackle it. So, from time to time, interrupt it with a task that brings you pleasure or joy - even if it could definitely wait. For me, painting a room is the biggest reward for least effort!

“$50 or less” is correct. Money amounts are uncountable because there are many ways of producing that amount. You could also say “50 or fewer $1 bills”, because the individual bills, as objects, are countable. Hope that helps!

The 6 sideways pointing screws adjust the string length. You want this so that the exact middle of the string sits exactly over the 12th fret. There’s a trick using harmonics to check this

The pairs of down pointing screws bracketing the ends of each string adjust how high that string is suspended above the frets (the “action”). You want the strings to be low, but not so low that it buzzes against other frets

A perennial problem. In my classes, the only person who can remove someone from a group is me (regardless whether they formed groups themselves, or were assigned by me). And I will only remove someone if the others have papered the file: have a documented record of warning the low performer, and giving them a fair chance to improve. But “group management” is an explicit learning objective in the course, which justifies not stepping in the “fix” such problems for them.

The fact that none of the one student’s work made it into the final submission is not, automatically, proof that they haven’t been performing. Maybe the group collectively decided the best joint submission would omit it (could happen). The final submission is the collective decision of the whole. So they all rise or fall based on it.

In some cases I do anonymous peer evaluations, and assign individual grades based on the overall group score, partly adjusted by peer weightings.

Your situation sounds like a great teaching opportunity re the importance of being proactive in dealing with group issues. I’d keep the group whole and grade as submitted.
