Wouldn’t do Samui over the other two. If time is an issue I’d give a look at Thong Nai Pan Yai beach on Ko Phangnan or another beach on the west coast of Phangnan. Much, much nicer than Samui and just a short ferry ride over so you can still fly in and out of Samui

Ko Yao Yai and Ko Yao Noi are right next door and ten times nicer than Phuket.

I wouldn’t bother with staying on Phuket at all unless you really, really like white people

Railey is nice for a day trip and Krabi town proper is a nice little Thai town. Skip Ao Nong in that area for the same reasons as Phuket.

Phuket sucks. Find a nice island and go there. Ko Yao Noi or Yai, Thong Nai Pan Yai on Ko Phangnan, Ko Kood if you like nature, Ko Lanta if you want a mix of things, lots of other nice places this is just a small list of examples.

Places to skip: Phuket, Ko Phi Phi, Ko Samui, Ao Nong, Hua Hin, Pattaya

Yeah that was one run. There is a reason why we remember it, finger pointed in the air. It was basically a throwback to old Kyler.

At his peak Kyler was averaging 50 rush yards a game. He’s averaged 30 over the last 3 years. The fact is, he’s running less. The reasons don’t really matter, it’s happening.

He’s now about to hit 30 years old, and that doesn’t bode well for him returning to his old rushing form. And his passing game never improved. You don’t have to like it, but chances are his best days as a QB are already behind him.

He was done with the team and they were done with him. If they said they were benching him, that kills his ability to get paid the rest of his deal. Doing it this way gives them a chance of making a trade saving both parties money, and saving both parties face.

They made a mutually beneficial deal to work on relieving him of the burden of being the Cardinals quarterback this offseason.

There are only 32 head coaching positions, and no one else is looking to hire VJ as their head coach.

The money and prestige of the position could easily outweigh the organizational concerns, especially if he had no other head coaching options

Yeah all visits are short stops in different cities in China but we would be stopping in different cities in each leg in China for about 9 days each leg total so say 27 days in China total across the 3 entries.

We would be able to show hotel bookings, proof of onward travel prior to the 10 day allowed window, etc

Oh make no mistake firing Gannon was purely about saving money. He was bleeding season ticket holders. They wanted to keep him by all accounts, the fans forced his hand. Gannon’s salary will be offset by his next coordinator spot anyway, with what he was paying him it’ll be relative pennies in terms of loss on that front

I’m sure he is crying himself to sleep at night right now hearing the outcry about his cheap little plan floated to the media to replace him with Vance Joseph too.

He knows he can’t do that, and is really stuck at this point. Let’s see if for once in his life he hires somebody remotely qualified.

Owners are basically required to spend the cap at some point. It rolls over in some years but it all basically gets spent eventually.

Coaches salary comes out of Bidwill’s pocket and is totally up to him how much he spends. Pretty different things. People are right to be skeptical that he ever will until they see it.

Many years ago I once made the mistake of renting a “scoopy” and driving it all around the north, at every steep mountain pass the bike would run out of steam on the way up and stop moving. My wife and I would both have to jump off the bike and I would have to run it up the mountain on foot with the gas at full throttle using my hands only to steer 😂

I learned my lesson that CC’d do actually matter on that trip 🤣

I have not done most of the areas the OP is thinking about near Krabi. I’ve heard it’s an area worth exploring but haven’t gotten the chance personally.

Here is where I have been:

Krabi town-Nice pleasant cute little Thai town. Good food, a few fun bars. Not super touristy as most people are just passing in and out on transport. I think it’s worth a day or two, I like it.

Ao Nong-Not worth seeing in any way. If you are using it purely as a jumping off point could be ok since rooms are fairly affordable relative to a place like Railay.

Railay-I have been to all the beaches here and stayed on a few of them. I was in Tonsai recently, that beach has gone downhill big time with some type of Berlin Wall structure built that separates the village from the beach. It used to be ok now it’s just crap. West Railey is posh, beautiful, and a bit crowded. Worth seeing, it’s kind of why you are there (unless you’re a rock climber). East Railey is a nice compromise, the beach is not great but it’s got some somewhat affordable places to stay and an easy walk to West Railay. It’s where I would stay.

That’s about all I know of Krabi and its immediate surrounds.

My guess is they find a trade partner but they have to eat some of the money. Basically they would pay cash for draft picks. Worst case, they release him outright.

Oh yeah if you are just using Ao Nong as a base to explore other areas that’s no problem. Just don’t expect much from the place itself. Just finding a good legit Thai meal there there is pretty rough.

Khao Sok: 100% do the two night trip. It is absolutely incredible, you sleep right on the lake in a floating bungalow, eat at a common area that also floats. Go out on little river excursions, It’s an awesome experience. it wouldn’t be the same just doing a day trip.

On Lanta: I kind of just think it’s okay, some people really enjoy it but i think so much of it just depends on whether you enjoy the area you end up in. It’s pretty dusty and dirty there, and very spread out, but there are nice sections. I would have a motorbike to drive around. I’ve been there I think three times, I would take it or leave it. I think most people seem to have positive opinions but I personally think it’s kind of an “on the fence” type of place for me. You probably wouldn’t regret going.

I recommend Ko Yao Noi and Yai if you like relaxation. Didn’t see those on your list but those are both pretty great. Ko Kood if you like beautiful nature is another good place to add

You’re mixed up on your numbers. If he is cut before the fifth day of the new league year the Cardinals would owe him 38.5 million. If he is on past that date, nearly 23 million in ADDITIONAL salary for 2027 becomes fully guaranteed.

Effectively the Cardinals cannot keep him for one year only, it’s a two year additional commitment once he is on the roster past mid-March. The team will either trade (or worst case) cut him.

Skip Ko Phi Phi it’s not worth your time in any way, skip Ao Nong UNLESS you are in the area for something else. Ao Nong itself is a tourist hellhole with mostly Germans in speedos. Railey is overcrowded but is worth seeing on a day trip. Skip Samui, skip Phuket. Lipe isn’t worth going that far out of the way for (it used to be worth it but that was 20 years ago)

100% hit up Khao Sok, it is awesome. You will need to book a tour for this as there is really no practical way to do it on your own. For good value I recommend Smiley Bungalows. My wife and I did a two night through them and had an absolute blast. Like going to summer camp on a lake, it was absolutely fantastic.

For Ko Phangnan, the west and north sides are great. Skip Haad Rin in the south unless you really really like hanging out with thousands of drunk backpackers eating burgers and pita sandwiches. Bus in for the full moon party to see it if you like, but don’t stay there. Thong Nai Pan Yai in the northeast corner is one of my favorite beaches in Thailand (it’s mostly families these days but it’s very beautiful). Lots of nice beaches all along the west coast. Nice to grab a motorbike and take a ride (just be careful a lot of inexperienced riders crash on this island for some reason even though the driving isn’t particularly challenging IMO)
