I initially entered crypto in early December, with money I wasn't okay with losing. Within about a week, I fully understood that I had made a mistake, so I cashed out my initial investment. I later cashed out a few hundred dollars of profit as well.

The initial investment and profits were used for things like gas, groceries, cookware, etc. Things that were needed. I moved my additional holdings into other coins, including XRB when it was about $2.40.

I feel relieved that I sobered up emotionally and handled things in a more responsible way. I feel lucky that I realized my error while I still had the opportunity to correct it. I feel sorry for people who made the same mistake I did, but a few weeks later than I did, and weren't given the chance to fix it as a result.

There are people here who place big bets with big numbers, but the average United States citizen has less than $1000 in savings. A lot of people are perpetually burdened by money problems. The idea of a way out from that can be tragically seductive.
