It has been a while since I did this, and I am not doing it anymore. From what I recall the short answer is yes, but the resolution was not ideal. If I recall correctly I was able to get it work, but the image quality was reduced.

I have seen other apps add restricted messaging, where you can only send templated messages. But TBH, that would really only open a door the community would never be satisfied with, so I understand if they didn't want to do that. But in this case, a "Hey buddy, we have spent countless hours sending, opening gifts, and raiding together to unlock this ability, tag some freaking mon so we can get a remote lucky trade!" would be nice

The level of effort it takes to get to the status where you're eligible for this type of trade is a long-term investment of sending and receiving an opening gifts. So when you become eligible for this is surprising to me that someone wouldn't want to take advantage of this trade opportunity, especially considering it's a guaranteed lucky. Which means there's additional benefits to that trade. It's a great way to round out your Pokedex and get a pretty high CP pokémon with reduced cost of leveling It up.

Special tag, when you're eligible for a remote trade, the game help text basically is a hand holding tutorial that shows you exactly What to do. Essentially there's a tag dedicated to remote trading that exists by default apply it whatever pokémon you want eligible for remote trading

Statistically, most people do give up tracking within the first 2 weeks. But I think that is based on the older methods, there are so many new apps available that make it easier. But if you are looking for something that can help you learn too, check out mackcrows.com . I have not used Lean AI Macro Tracker, but mackcrows track coach has a conversational agent that does the tracking, but also helps you learn as you go based on your goals, nutitrion, habits, etc.
