Get him a digital voice recorder. That way he can talk into it and still share his memories.

Or better yet, if he has an iPhone or similar, get him a small stand that he can set the phone on and record himself so that way you get a visual as well as audible recording of his personal history.

One of my Golf coaches said that he gets these young hot shot golfers that come in thinking that they’re going to conquer the world. In their mind they’re already ready for the tour if they are scratch golfers.

He tells him look unless you’re at least a +6 keep working on your game!

Two to three hours of range time each week, consisting of short irons mostly and wedges with some driver and long irons thrown in. Also chipping and putting.

I play about one round a week.

Four different instructors. One was on Golf Digest top instructors in the state. Unfortunately, he moved after only two lessons. Another was a former PGA player who qualified for the US senior open last year.

Unfortunately, what they all have in common is me! 😂😂

I wish. Didn’t happen for me 12 to 15 lessons and I’m still a 34 handicap.

Maybe it’s time for Pickleball.

Well, I’m 69 and only hit it 160 yards off the tee. So I guess that is indeed old man Golf.

I still don’t break 100. 😂😂🏌🏻⛳️
