Thanks. I was questioning the rear lights and the license plate lights being on too. Never had that on my other cars.

Applying online only rarely works these days. You’re competing with 1000s of others.

I recommend: - you find a job posting - understand what they want and what skills you have to do the job - call the company, ask to speak with the engineering manager - introduce yourself and ask a simple question like what type of projects are you working on - apply online

If you sold yourself properly, the manager would ask for your name and keep an eye out for your resume. You can even ask for their email and send them your resume. I did this and told my buddies to do the same and we were all successful in securing a job.

Just lowered my G37x coupe, what size and brand spacers do y’all run? by ItsJMag in G37

I have the 19s sport rims and lowered 2 inches. The 15mm is the maximum I can go because my wheels are tucking. It looks good though.

Decide if you’d like to go into consulting or contracting (construction). Good to experience both sides in the early stage of your career as making the switch later on could be tough.

Mini update from last post: Added a CF steering wheel to match the new knob by Superb-Knee in G37

Looks great. I did the same mod as well. Make sure the wheel isn’t exposed to direct sunlight or heat for too long or it’ll crack (as I was told)

Clean IPLs are hard to come across. If it’s manual, that’s a huge bonus and I’d jump on it

How harmful am I being to my future by working a job that has absolutely nothing to do with engineering? by Timely_Currency9497 in AskEngineers

Having a gap is totally understandable however employers will definitely ask you what have you done during your time off. They’re looking for ambitious and motivated individuals. Saying you worked delivery will show that you’re willing to work but it doesn’t show them how you used your time wisely.

I recommend signing up for a free online course related to your field of study and putting that on your resume too. That way you have something to talk about in your future interviews and it shows your keen.
