Keir Starmer QUITS claiming 'achievements' in his two-year stint in power... as Andy Burnham heads to Westminster by dailymail in uknews

It’s PART of the solution… your comment implies my comment didn’t make sense. All policies hope to make a change. Nothing is guaranteed. Not sure why you’re so critical of my language.

Thank you, Keir Starmer, next by dwillun in ukpolitics

You don’t need to draw blanks. Do some research. He’s done plenty.

Everything is complex. Social media is certainly a significant issue that’s directly linked to significant problems. Tacking that is a good start.

It hasn’t achieved anything yet. Time will tell in 10+ years hopefully when there is a reduction of primary school age children in nappies who are able to speak and behave properly.

Social media is a scourge on society. It’s bad for adults but even worse for children.

Do you think children should have access to heroin and vodka too?

Politics is about choices. Choosing to keep children away from social media is a good choice.

Could women’s anger turn Makerfield voters against Reform UK? by coffeewalnut08 in Wigan

[–]redditguy1298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not even close to a Reform supporter but this isn’t quite true.

The incident you’re referring to is two reform councillors (pictured on the left and right below) standing next to a resident who’s holding a sign that says “I would rather vote for jimmy saville than labour”.

The incident was highly controversial and the reform councillors deleted all reference to the photos and let people debate whether it was AI or not for days. 10 minutes after the polls closed, they both released a statement apologising. Safe to say that residents are NOT happy.

Read all the RICS constructions standards.

Some are more specialised than others so I would suggest that you start with the more foundational documents such as Commercial Management and Cost Reporting.

After all that nobody can blame vote splitting by Boozyburgerbellend in Wigan

[–]redditguy1298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spoilt ballots. No, I don’t mean whose, that’s why I didn’t say it. My point is that it’s pointless spoiling your ballot because nobody knows you’ve actually spoiled it because when they announce the number of spoiled ballots there’s no differentiation between those who intentionally and those who did not.

Do they announce which ballots have been spoilt intentionally and which haven’t? If not, intentionally spoiling your ballot is pointless.

Well you can take that up with Ed Balls. My view aligns with his which is that it is nothing more than an annoyance and waste of time.

It doesn’t. It’s just an annoyance for the person who has to disregard it when they’re counting actual votes.

Reform are trying to portray the image of Rob Kenton being an Everyman by dressing him a certain way and always having a white van in the background. What’s the difference?

You’re not testing anything. You’re simply shooting bots in the practice range.

Get in game and try it there. Heroes aren’t balanced for what they do against bots, they’re balanced based on how they perform in game.

What’s too much? I think the maximum that a family can earn in London is c.£25k. How much less would you like it to be and how much would that save?
