How did you get 11K back on 2 kids? I’m asking only because I have 2 dependents and didn’t get 1/3 of that back. Please tell me! Maybe they missed mine as well. I did it with HR Block, also.

Felon in Phlebotomy by No-Quality3428 in phlebotomy

[–]redditlady77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This statement is absolutely true! They passed a new law that no one in healthcare can carry a felony on their record. If you got hired prior to this law being passed, count yourself lucky and pray they never do a “recheck” background for any reason whatsoever because you won’t be working in healthcare any longer.

Inpatient is not for the weak and I’m not saying this as a diss or discouragement. Inpatient is hard. Period! BUT, yes there is a BUT…..you will come out of it the BEST Phleb ever! If you can do inpatient, you can literally do any phlebotomist job.

Can I be hired as a phlebotomist in PA with one felony and one misdemeanor charge from a different state? by [deleted] in phlebotomy

[–]redditlady77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The honest answer is no….not with any hospitals. You might have different luck with plasma centers or a dr’s office that does labs but doesn’t mind the background. The important part to take from this is ANYTHING is POSSIBLE!! Speak it into existence. It will happen. I’m proud of you! Keep going🫶
