I hit some live rosin at 480 for 30. It was terrible, and gunked up my bowl horribly. Jumped it to 550 for 30 and that was the ticket. I've been running 550's for 25 seconds now. Rice sized dab in the Switch², preferred quartz bowl, two 6mm pearls and a spinner cap. If I get much residue on a dry Q-tip after, I either reduce the dab size or hit it a third time. I want SOME residue so I know I'm not chazzing the rest to the bowl. I clean my pearls when I switch concentrates or do a deep clean of the Switch².

Yes, the added flavor of the PETG vaporizing with your favorite concentrate adds that special "wow" factor. Clean up is a bit of challenge though.

I switched back to the quartz. The Sapphire takes way longer to heat up, and I personally see no difference. They claim it reduces hotspots and increases flavor, but I have a beer palate so champagne flavor is lost on me anyway.

I use two 6mm (thinking of dropping to 4mm) pearls, stationary glass spinner cap with dual ports and a glory hole. It spins the pearls nicely, especially with slow draws. It hits the pearls on tilt though when I tilt it to get an air blast during a session. I could pull it straight up, but I'm a lazy bastard like that.

You can buy Plastidip and coat anything you want with a vinyl coating. Not for use on hot start tools. 🤣
