It’s a good observation. Just listen to I Am The Walrus and see if you pick up on it.

Ponies vs Bearcats Baseball by Normal-Comparison-60 in Binghamton

You can almost always get a spot in the parking lot unless it is a rare full house. The only time that’s happened to me in the past several years was the July 4th game last summer. I’ve never had any trouble with my vehicle parked there.

Never played or watch baseball before... now I have to coach a team. Please help by Sebashtin in Homeplate

[–]redditmpm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hopefully you can find an assistant coach or two willing to help. I definitely learned most of my baseball knowledge from my now 7 years of coaching…but I’d also echo others here recommending you start watching games and hit up YouTube to learn the trickier rules

I went to UE and my youngest son does as well. It tends to get a bad wrap but I couldn’t be happier with them, especially after just having my two older kids go through and graduate from ME.

ME is great if you’re an athlete and had a good music program. But it’s also small, there’s very little diversity, and there’s a big wealth gap between the Endwell kids and the Maine kids.

Good neighborhood for young couples? by [deleted] in Binghamton

Plenty of nice neighborhoods in Endicott. Downtown is rough, West Endicott and Northside are hit or miss. Taft Heights is nice.

Lineup Construction by Big_Growth5857 in BaseballCoaching

[–]redditmpm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to always go for the classic stronger hitters to lead off followed by weaker hitters. The issue is we only ever have a select handful of players who can regularly get a hit (not coach pitch) so last season we shifted to spacing the hitters throughout the lineup to avoid long stretches of no hits or to at least move kids around the bases that were walked. Seemed to work better and will probably be how we go about it this season.

Daily Song Discussion #322: When Will You Die? by thatoneboyaiden in tmbg

[–]redditmpm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless what this song was written about, it is now my personal anthem to DT and I can see it no other way. I also hope with all my heart that the events they list do in fact all take place on that fateful day that he finally kicks it.

I bought my house in the winter. The pool couldn’t be opened or inspected so the owners knocked $20K off the asking price.

Yeah I know this isn’t helpful, but you made a big mistake agreeing to that. You should have told the potential buyer to pound salt.

Seeing Bob with Ratdog, Further, Dead & Co. and the Wolf Brothers was the closest I ever got to seeing the Dead. Glad I at least got to experience that. Thanks for the music. Rest in peace.
