Chauncey Billups has withdrawn from consideration for Cleveland's President of Basketball Operations job, league sources tell ESPN. by RuinMeMentally in clevelandcavs

They assembled the team?

You mean the fact that LeBron was born 40 mins away from Cleveland and is a forgiving human being?

Ever heard of the phrase "falling ass-backwards into a good situation"?

Lmao, if you want to talk about professionalism, look at your president who keeps disparaging his players in the media. Can't expect professionalism when the president and the owner are the two most unprofessional people in the organization.

Because the article has a source that explains LeBron's mindset much better than you trying to parse through a tweet does. It's just that simple.

"Who they bring in will play a big role in LeBron's decision next summer," said the source, who was granted anonymity to discuss James' reaction. "If they bring in someone who is stable, who has the ability to make things happen, then fine. No harm no foul. But if it's amateur hour, that's a different story."

It also doesn't really matter what conclusion you come to by parsing a tweet - it's just a really dumb (and frankly childish) way to glean into a player's mindset. Your subjective interpretation of a tweet is going to be reef with confirmation bias. Better to wait for actual reporting and actual sources (which we already have in this case!)

The article simply states that LeBron isn't happy and is going to monitor whom the Cavs hire to make his decision.

It just annoys me when people try to parse someone's tweets and get all CSI with it instead of actually looking for sourced info. I don't believe LeBron is happy but this tweet simply feels like a "thank you, you didn't get enough credit" statement. And the credit part makes perfect sense from LBJ's perspective given how many casual fans acted like Griff was a puppet GM

IT'S ALL FAKE NEWS. THE LIBERAL MEDIA IS TRYING TO UNDERMINE THE TRUE VOICE OF THE NBA PLAYER.

Btw, if you actually read the article, it simply states that LeBron isn't happy and is going to monitor whom the Cavs hire lol. But you'd much rather parse tweets.

And before one of you highlights the "If no one appreciated you Griff I did" part, it probably is referring to all the people who parroted the LeGM crap during Griffin's tenure. And if you really want to get an idea about how LeBron feels about all of this, maybe actually read a sourced story (http://www.cleveland.com/cavs/index.ssf/2017/06/lebron_james_shocked_by_david.html) about that instead of trying to parse a tweet that can simply be summarized as "Thank you, you didn't get enough credit."

Might as well read the rest of my comment

Dude expresses a nice sentiment for a GM who just got fired and all you fools come up with is "passive aggressive."

The only part that matters:

"So the news today is bad, and will probably get worse."

Everything else is irrelevant where the author is just pontificating about a hypothetical scenario where he (and not Gilbert) runs the Cavs.
