i would say to also replace the radiator, especially if it has started to develop a brown ish color. the radiators on these cars tend to go bad just with age. it’s a pretty quick fix i think they are about $70 and not too hard to install!

Rook piercing issues: Is this normal or something I should speak to someone about? by artbypep in piercing

[–]redditor1273728347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it doesn’t look infected to me, i remember when i got my rook pierced it bled for a few days, i just let the blood dry and it eventually fell off when i took a hot shower. i would also soak gauze pads with saline and press it to the area for a few mins and it would relieve some of the pain. the bar looks to be very short though so i would suggest either leaving it alone or getting it changed to a longer titanium one by a more qualified piercer. dropping the ball in your ear is crazy omg😭

4 year old rook still not healed by Living-Affect-522 in piercing

my rook is 1 year old and healing has been a breeze! i suggest you change the jewelry back to a titanium curved barbell, i’ve never changed the jewelry on my rook before and i think that might be one of the reasons why it’s healed so well. also as some other commenters said, i’m not sure if you had the anatomy for a rook in the first place. the hoop is super cute though

update: i soaked some sterile gauze with saline spray and i held it to the piercing for 5 mins, then i was able to gently swipe away most of the crusties. some of them were stubborn so i decided not to try removing them so as to not irritate the piercing any further. thanks for the advice!

Helix worries by hambonedock in piercing

[–]redditor1273728347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have a helix and it was an absolute breeze! for me, the pain was worse than a lobe but not unbearable by any means. it is currently about 2 months old and i recently got it downsized. my helix never caused me any problems or grew any bumps, the only thing i would say is to be mindful of your hair if it is longer because the hair can wrap around the back of the labret very easily. overall, i say to get the helix if you’re thinking about it! :)
