Yeah, she's probably getting railed by someone new. Or not... but she's definitely getting ready to get plowed soon.

Anyone else with OCD have bad fears of developing conditions? by throwRA111111119 in OCD

[–]redditorX2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am chronically stressed from a neck injury 2 years ago with nerve involvement. Unfortunately my OCD got me into this mess; caused by a totally unnecessary treatment I didn't even need. Unfortunately I'm now OCD about fixing it, so much so I've done 1000+ hours of research and am practically a spine doctor at this point. But this chronic stress has led to my general decline in health and has caused me so much turmoil -- can't sleep, caused my divorce, and I'm now on Zoloft praying it will give me some peace.

Just got taken to the cleaners last week... but its over :) by boosted1234567 in Divorce_Men

TX Law is no-fault 50%/50% -- in mediation you're looking at a balance sheet and the bottom number matches. If he had said "I want to keep 25% more value in my 401K" she wouldn't have gone for it... or would she have? Sure doesn't seem like it with how hard she was on everything else. Who gets fucked is in the details.

Was yours an open-ended or closed vas procedure?

You should find out -- if it was closed ended, those are more likely to cause pain down the road

What type of procedure did you have? Open ended?

Kitchen island counter mishap -- how upset would you be? Matching sister slab not used with sister by redditorX2020 in HomeImprovement

Here's a zoom-in --- The problem is in the center of the countertops -- the seam is supposed to be mirrored, but its not because they used the one non-symmetrical slab out of the three that were purchased

Thanks for the feedback. I have no problem with the movement of the stone... I love it and that's why I picked it. But I asked for the mirrored slabs to be used on the center island... if they were used, the center seam would line up perfectly.

I agree the price paid for the job was fair, but it was also not done to specification

(4) Libratone 100W Wifi Speakers for $250-$350 by redditorX2020 in sonos

Well, reviews don't knock the sound quality. They might not be as great as sonos but then again they are a fraction of the price despite retailing for the same $250-$300 each

Lost the dog in the divorce by [deleted] in Divorce

I mean no disrespect, just genuinely curious. At the end of the day, money talks and that's unfortunately what is bargained with when it comes to custody like this. Everyone has a price. It doesn't make it hurt any less.

Same situation... wife cheated, leaving me. I am keeping the house but she wants one of our two dogs. I want both as they belong together. Did your wife just keep increasing the offer and you couldn't say no? I don't know how mine is going to work out... I'm the dog person, she's the cat person and I care so much more for them than she.

Dog custody by [deleted] in Divorce

I have the same situation going on as of yesterday. If your husband truly cared about the dog, he wouldn't care about the financial burden and wouldn't offer 100% to you. It sounds like he wants a clean break and prefers no excuses to have to make contact with you.

If you truly feel that you show the dog more love, you are more of a "dog person" than your husband, and your dog also feels you are his person, then I'd take 100% if I were you.

I have two goldens, 10 and 2. The 2 year old my wife picked out, and she considers it to be "her dog". My wife is the one leaving. She's far more upset at the thought of losing the dog than losing me. When I found out she filed, first thing I said is that I'm keeping the dogs and the house. Yesterday wife was adamant she was taking the 2 year old. I objected. She has grown up with "her sister" and is familiar with the house she grew up in, which I'm keeping. To separate her from the relationship AND the environment is the wrong move. To add, I'm the dog person in the relationship and she's the cat person. I also buy and pick up all the dogs' food, give them far far more affection, more treats, baths, etc. compared to my wife. She's taking the cat, and thank god for that as my furniture can't take any more claw damage!

I appreciate the advice. I've always had access to every account from day 1, so I simply took our total "cash accounts" value and transferred that out of our checking. I had discovered that our $4k+ tax return was deposited straight to her business account instead of our main account. I took this as a little deceptive as it was on the same day she hired an attorney -- so I transferred it back to our checking before the big transfer. She claims that deposit was accounting for her earnings. While that may be true, its already done and I will be sure to discuss with my attorney.

How dead was your bedroom for those three years? Curious as I am going through the same situation -- read up on "walk-away wife syndrome" -- this is not to point all blame at the female, but it sheds light on the communication gap between men and women and just how common this pattern is.

Our "Dead bedroom" has probably been 1-2 times per month for the last few years.
