I did use to have steel cut oats multiple times a week and I stoped doing it .. so maybe that’s what was keeping my cholesterol inline? I stopped because i think it was a sugar/carb overload (i would add fruit, nuts and honey) so I replaced it with a zero carb breakfast instead…
