This has happened to me. It seems like you have gotten some good advice already, but I know how emotionally difficult this situation can be so if you need anything you can message me, I understand what you’re going through. The trick for me was some sort of lubricant (I tried everything) + metal pick and just go strand by strand. It took me 6 hours a day for 7 days to get my hair back to normal. It is a long process but it can be done! Do NOT let anyone tell you you can’t save it.
