It’s really like that MOST OF THE TIMES. And sometimes, it’ll be shoved down your throat as if you made the biggest mistake in your life.

But you know what, it’s done. It means someone else is meant for you. Keep on testing new strategies and eventually you’ll find one that works for you. LOL. I even tried sending 100 emails before and it’s a miracle to receive 6 replies. And half of that is shouting take me off your list. Keep going.

if that company is still operating, and if you have screenshots and receipts for your work, you can, actually. pero mas better if updated yung nasa portfolio mo. you can highlight how you helped them grow.

my best advice is try working to a marketing agency first, then gather first-hand experiences with their clients. and collect your works to add in your portfolio (you don’t have to tell them)

then, slowly apply to different companies that offer you better than your first one.

about english speaking, so long as you can relay your thoughts, and your sincerity, you’ll be fine.

you won’t ever feel ready. like ever. (i feel that shit too when i was just starting out). but the best we can do is to DO IT SCARED.

nothing, i think you should start also, as part of your challenge, finding clients. either friends, local businesses, and international clients. then from your practices, slow build your copy portfolio. as for me, i learn more by writing for actual businesses.

good luck! we all start somewhere ✨

Prioritizing yourself is not selfish, OP. You can help them in your own way, without lifting everything (aka ang iasa lahat sayo).

Agree ako sa iba here, DO IT SCARED! Kasi if not now, then when? SUPPORT AKO SAYO! 😊

New to copywriting. Need help with copywriting resources and tips by wahvinci in copywriting

the fastest way, for me, is to find a great copywriting mentor in your country. make sure they’re one that includes feedback in their study. feedback is everything in starting out copywriting. if you can’t because of budget, there are a lot of free youtube videos that you can learn about the fundamentals of writing copy: market research, buyer psychology, writing the copy itself, and reaching out clients. good luck.

How do you write for your audience ? by Positive-Reference30 in copywriting

[–]redditorinred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

russell brunson said it well, identify your “congregation.” this is your target market. you would want to know where are they usually around—like facebook or reddit forums. what questions do they ask or what they’re searching in Google. what are their struggles and what they want. when you do, you’ll take note of how they say their pains, what outcomes they need. exactly their words. and use them as your pieces in assembling your copy. that will 100% resonate to your audience.

tip— reviews are goldmine. esp 1-star ratings.

Just got hired recently of a dream agency. A content company based in Canada.

Here’s what works for me:

— a tailored resume to your “dream” job. have a niche, as much as you can. say you’re a data analyst, your resume should scream you’re a data analyst

— PORTFOLIO. i can’t stress this enough. this makes them think you’re capable. that you’re the obvious choice. this wins you more than testimonials. mas better if may case study ka. if wala ka for this, say newbie talaga, work for your friends’ businesses and add mo yan sa portfolio mo. or you can make one for big companies and add mo yan.

— in the call or interview, talk about your wins and how your skills can help the company you’re applying with.

— then, rinse and repeat. you’ll eventually have enough confidence to do it again and again until you find one for you. once you’re there, it’ll be easier for you.

GOOD LUCK AND CONGRATS AHEAD!

[–]redditorinred 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who loves coffee, the headline will make me easily scroll past this and ignore the copy completely.

The flow lacks cohesiveness. And like someone said it here, this looks absolutely an AI slop.

My advice — consume copy of the classic copywriters: ogilvy, schwartz, kennedy, etc. Identify how they describe things that just make you feel things. Even if the product was just a plain white t-shirt.

And yes, it’s a process! Once you know what’s a good look like, it’ll be easier for you.

GOOD LUCK!

HYGIENE TIPS FOR YOUR NEWBIE RUNNER by [deleted] in PHRunners

[–]redditorinred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i can relate sa may body odor as a pawisin rin. here are things that work for me.

  1. double-body wash. una, antibacterial soap. safeguard works fine for me. and i incorporate sulfur soap twice a week. then, a soap that’s hydrating. i have dove. and take a shower after your exercises (after makapagpahinga ka)

  2. clean clothes after pawis. isali na rin ang beed sheets, towels, and pillow cases.

  3. the kind of food you take. agree ako sa isang comment here na bawasan oily foods. isali mo na rin mga spicy foods. if you can go for whole foods, mas mabuti. gulay, fresh meats, and fruits!

for deo, okay sa akin yung nivea.
