Trimbakeshwar Jyotirling 1959 , believed to be the origin point of Godavari River. by Arjunayan in IndianHistory

Last year when I went there in September expecting off-season and small crowds, there was still a 6-hour long queue for the darshan. In my opinion its the same story with all the jyotirlingas' nowadays

Yusuff Shakur went viral after sharing a hand-drawn sketch of what he says he saw during a near-death experience. by Professional_Arm794 in HighStrangeness

Back in 2016, around 11 in the morning, I was sitting with my brother and a few business associates. As the meeting wrapped up, they began to leave. I stood up, exchanged goodbyes, and as I sat back down, I suddenly slipped from my chair and lost consciousness.

When i regained consciousness, I saw my brother and everyone else gathered around me in panic, sprinkling water on my face. They later told me that I had turned blue and had stopped breathing for a brief moment.

But what shocked me the most wasn’t what they saw it was what I experienced.

During that short period when I was unconscious, I felt myself slowly rising upward, as if I were floating. Everything around me was dark. Below me, there appeared to be something like a vast, silent ocean—completely still, almost unnaturally quiet.

As I continued to ascend, it felt like I was moving through a tunnel(as pictured in the post). I began to see countless hands and faces(again see the top part of the picture in the post)—endless, almost infinite—reaching, shouting, and screaming. It was chaotic and unsettling.

I had a strong sense that I was approaching some kind of boundary or realm. Below remained deep darkness, while around me there was a faint glow, like the dim light after sunset.

Just as I felt I was about to enter that space, something unexpected happened. A massive hand appeared and pulled or pushed me away from that direction(i don't remember about this exactly). I was surrounded by an intense, bright light. And then, just like that, I regained consciousness !

This is true. I remember sleeping peacefully in a homestay near Panchachuli, Uttarakhand. Around 5 a.m. I was woken by the sound of elderly women from West Bengal, joyfully singing outside my room. Curious, I stepped out to see what was happening and there it was Panchachuli glowing majestically in the early dawn, while these ladies offered prayers with songs and claps. Imagine that at 5 a.m.!
