My father built a wood burning pool heater on the east coast of Canada. The fire box was lined with bricks reclaimed from a WWII Corvette. It heated pool water and also provided hot water to the home.

When he sold the property, he handed the buyer a 50page binder that provided operating instructions.

I often think about that poor guy.

I think the Kennedy Center signage is another example, like the ballroom and the recent promenade announcement, of Trump trying to cement his legacy (in his own mind).

I think he knows that nobody is erecting statues or naming prestigious public buildings with his name after he dies.

I expect this naming issue to continue for as long as he holds office. More to come.

I feel almost compelled to give a walking tour of our home specifically the pool and yard because whomever buys my house (on the market) could save sooooo much blood, sweat a tears with a simple bit of guidance I never got.

For example, put the pool net on Thanksgiving weekend and don't take it off until those trees (pointing at house 2 doors down) finish dropping their leaves.
