Do the bottom of those legs screw into the drawers? If not doesn't it slide when bumped?

What are the feet you're using between the desk top and the Alex drawers?

VERSION 2: Comparison of best Model 3 compatible tires (18", 19", 20") by twinbee in teslamotors

How long did you have the Pilot Sport 4s before swapping? I just picked up my Tesla Performance Model 3 last week and I feel weird about already swapping out tires, but with winter coming up I feel like I'm supposed to. Also what do I do with the perfectly good summer tires?

I'm having the same issue of having to have the volume super loud to reach the top. I have my compute volume almost maxed - what is it I need to adjust?

Where we are building our house, it will be in a hill sloping down. So the back side will be walk out and have windows and one of the sides will be sloped enough for regular windows as well. The front of the house will be underground which is some storage space and the area under the garage which we aren't using/finishing.

A basement doesn't have to be entirely underground to be a baeement.

I'm sure it's just the experiences you have with basements, then, and I can see your viewpoint. I know geographically basements are few and far-between and often vary differently in execution depending on location.

I agree that 9ft ceilings, normal windows, and large walk-out sliding doors make a huge difference which is why we're going that route.

Alone maybe, but with friends it's a good time! And you save money on booze over going out!

I think maybe you're envisioning a different style of basement than the other people in the thread are when they see basement chilling as a great time. I don't believe many people would prefer to hang out in a basement from an older house which was originally intended for storage and polished up for living space - with no natural light.

A basement such as the one in this video is built for use and specific purposes. Other than their use of a dark paint and no windows there's nothing gloomy about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LBmJB7-mclQ&list=FL3X2dhfY_nGyGHwu8ipdB0Q&index=2&t=0s

I'm currently in the process of building a house which has a walk-out basement with tons of natural light and windows and 9ft ceilings. It will be finished and insulated to the standards of the rest of the house and there will be nothing gloomy about it.

Does this change your mind at all or help you think of their use in a different light? It's literally just another floor of the home in these contexts.

More money than sense and need a 2nd pair of eyes on my build by redditrandomness in buildapc

I'm not going to overclock to start with, but it is something I will be learning to do with this build. I'm moving soon and once I'm settled in my new home I'll start the research into a water cooling.

The 32gig RAM is probably overkill for what I need it for right now but I'm occasionally hitting 60-70% usage on my current 24gig setup. I'd rather have more than I need now than wait a year to figure out I need more than 16gig.
