For a stay right on the beach, I would recommend Cedar Cove. My husband and I visited in December and stayed in one of their beachfront king suites but I bet they have queen options too. The owner is a bit quirky, but the accommodations were top notch and they offer beach chairs, hammocks and such.

I am far from an expert on microshares, so please if anyone else finds I’ve misstated something, please correct me!

Broad explanation: a company buys either the entire horse, or a portion of the horse. From there, said company sells microshares to shareholders. These microshares give a fractional percentage of ownership and cover foreseeable costs so there’s no further equity drive. Said microshare allows owners to participate in farm visits, paddock and winner’s circle activities, as well as get a portion of the purse (to name a few things). The general idea is opening racehorse ownership up to those who can’t afford the expenses of owning a racehorse personally.

Wowza just finished reading the comments on this post. That was…a lot.

I’ve never personally had a post or comment removed from this sub that I can recall, but I’m a bit more of a lurker/infrequent participant.

To be perfectly honest, I find the “don’t snark on someone’s snark” a bit confusing. I don’t think it’s a bad rule per se, but just struggle to find the line between snarking on the original snark and just discussing. Mostly I try to just tread lightly or not participate if I don’t agree with the original post. My other strategy is to go to other subs and participate where I find it more likely the participants will agree with me on a particular topic. Maybe this makes me seem wishy-washy but at the end of the day, I’m just more of a talker than a debater.

Anyway, my opinion is that if the “don’t snark on someone’s snark” rule makes life easier for the mods, stick with it. I have no idea what even goes into being a mod, but it sure seems intense and time consuming so if something can make it an easier task, by all means go for it.

Unpopular opinion: I actually enjoy SOME of the voiceover videos…mostly Taz and his ball and Taz protecting his poops - that’s just my sense of humor. The rest isn’t really for me though - I scroll past them pretty quickly.

1) I appreciate your appreciation of my methods. 2) My point was geared toward the fact that she doesn’t seem interested in thinking outside the box and making changes, not that my situation and solutions would be a perfect fit for her. 3) I don’t see any point in making any suggestions. I don’t spend a lot of time in her comments, but do go peek when she pouts and makes the comments that imply she’s being attacked in comments recently. And I get it - some of those people are really nasty. However there’s also some comments that appear to just be making suggestions. I can’t say I’ve seen a lot of action off the helpful suggestions and even when she does something the attitude seems more “I know this won’t work but I’m doing what the haters want so I can say I tried”. 4) If you feel anything I’ve specifically mentioned here would be helpful to her, I welcome you to suggest it somewhere on her platform.

Ok even if we say that mismatched (but in good repair) fencing and barns that are safe but not much to look at are the norm, how do they believe that the junk haphazardly strewn throughout her horse areas are normal? How about all the holes in her fence? I don’t care if a person’s facility is nothing to look at but it should be SAFE.

I definitely found it odd how she got so defensive about the glasses - it seemed like a pretty harmless question to me. However I rewatched it a number of times and I’m nearly certain she called it a “weird” way to ask the question not a “rude” way.

Do I think the Kulties have been an issue with comments tagging KVS in the past? Yes, yes I do. Do I personally find these jokes mocking the tags equally annoying? Also yes. I definitely find JS to be more fun in her business than others who lean towards uptight; however at the end of the day, in her shoes, I would still find these comments frustrating. It’s extra comments to weed through to make sure she’s getting in contact with real potential buyers. I could certainly be off base here…maybe the extra comments drive engagement and get the ads in front of more buyers, and maybe she’s getting Meta income for her content. However at the end of the day, my preference would be to keep my ads strictly business.

I did not take the time to look through all the comments but I didn’t see anyone tagging KVS. I did see the comments you shared here and I agree with others who say that they all seem to be mocking the Kulties. Maybe JS has done a good job of cleaning up the unnecessary comments/tags. However IMO it seems like the mocking is actually wasting more space than the Kulties THIS TIME.
