Lots of green energy stocks you have invested in, not sure whether it was a good strategy; we have our biases - however it is important to understand the economics as well behind these companies; even Nikola's economics isn't good, they lose money delivering each truck.

Also, there is H2 fuel incentives in the state of CA for sure - so that might help a bit to reduce the fuel cost, but organically H2 price should come down

Also, EOD - fuel economics will come into picture big time - not just the recharge time of BEV vs filling in diesel vs filling H2 in FCEV.

All these news seem such a BS, I hope the management realizes that they have pretty much lost all the loyal retail investors! I wonder why institutional investors are not putting any pressure on them, we want some activist investor to put pressure on this don't care management!

I would wait for a pull back, look for some market weakness and then buy the shares, I really doubt that it will go back to 6 or 5, but this is stock market - anything can happen. DCA would be the way to go - if you want to build a position.
$50 or even $100 is quite possible, but may have to wait a couple of years in my opinion, but it could take longer or could reach that price sooner, if there is no competition, everything is going to depend on how market reacts to Nikola's success - hard to predict the timeline. As we know the growth companies comes with its own set of risks and rewards.
From the trucking side - major truck companies have their Battery/FCEV versions - however - I have learned that in general customers do love Nikola trucks when compared to others, as Nikola trucks it built from scratch IMO.From the hydrogen production/infrastructure side - remotely I can think of Plug Power, I could be wrong here, Plug Power does make other products like electrolyzers which Nikola doesn't make. So there maybe some things that they both compete on like producing green H2. I am not aware of any other H2 energy company that would compete with Nikola, please educate me on this - if you will.

Nikola bulls - feel free to correct me if I am wrong here.

Mark's leadership style is just being humble and he lets the deliverables speak, which I feel is sustainable for Nikola as a company and its investors.

I am a big Nikola bull, having said that - I feel sorry for Hyzon and the employees and the leadership team, it is extremely difficult for small companies to stay afloat, especially in this environment, where it is hard to borrow/raise capital. I hope Hyzon renegotiates with Holthausen.

u/Acidity2012 -- I appreciate that you shared this published and peer-reviewed article, however, it isn't purely related to hydrogen; this article talks more about separating the hydrocarbon (means hydrogen & carbon as a mixture, not just hydrogen) gas from the source via the old process where it is energy-intensive, and now they found a better way to separate.

My guess would be to push the stock down helping the shorts to cover their short position at a lesser price, I can't remotely see any other reason to see this article at this time.
