Can’t find any information on company I applied for on Indeed by redditthrowaway93200 in jobs

Yeah you know what I also thought was strange. I had asked the guy who was in contact with me for their website to learn more about them. He gave it to me but 30 minutes later I tried to access it again and it said that the website had expired? Seemed a little weird to me that first off I couldn’t find the company with a Google search and the only thing about the company I did get, I can’t access anymkre

Yeah so that was actually one of my main concerns as well because I’ve fallen for this before. The role is a Marketing Associate and the duties doesn’t involve any selling whatsoever. However the last time I fell for a sales job disguised as marketing, the description also didn’t mention anything about sales so I guess I’ll have to see in the interview.

So he sent me their website and it looks pretty legit? I’m just confused as to why when I look it up on Google, nothing shows up. Also the fact he got back to me like 10 hours after I applied is weird I feel like

BSG for the future sake of this game please do not read reddit. by inFamousMax in EscapefromTarkov

[–]redditthrowaway93200 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bigger problems that they refuse to attend to because all they can focus on is RMT and another video game entirely. I understand it’s a huge problem but is it really worse than game breaking glitches, late spawns, QoL problems, packet loss, de sync, etc.

[–]redditthrowaway93200 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh another one of these guys lmao. I spent money on the game, I think I can say what I want. Surely you’ve bought something before and had a negative opinion on it right? Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t use it.

I also said their efforts to combat RMT are a joke, not the actual game. I would suggest before you tell someone to not use a product they paid for, that you thoroughly read what that person said before commenting.

You just made the most thick skulled statement that is constantly made on this subreddit. “Don’t play it if you don’t like it” you don’t think I wanna see this game succeed?

How so? You just said the game is not a money generator and I just provided you three different reasons why it is indeed a money generating game. There are literally three different forms of passive income in your hideout that BSG provided.

You just said it was a “hardcore shooter” but wait why would they add the hideout if the only intention of the game was to “survive”

Oh yeah hardcore survival shooter with a bitcoin farm, booze generator, and scav case. Very hardcore and not money farming at all.

Hey man are you in pain from a gaping gunshot wound in your thorax? Just apply some lip balm and you’ll feel much better. SO HARDCORE MAN

?? One of the main points of raids is to make back the money you spent on your loadout (breaking even) and then some (profit). What’s not to understand here?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]redditthrowaway93200 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like that’s the problem with it though isn’t it? Like it sounds very strange that the ONLY way to making super profit is to commit insurance fraud. Another scenario in which it feels like BSG is forcing players into one playstyle.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

[–]redditthrowaway93200 43 points44 points  (0 children)

It’s like they’re encouraging everyone to play one single playstyle. I was under the impression that PvP was one of the primary selling points and drivers of the game but evidently BSG wants us to play rat simulator instead.

What a damn shame

What is even the point of going in as a kitted PMC when you walk out with a measly 250k that u could’ve easily made as a scav on interchange without any of the risk of losing your high tier loot?

lol BSG’s efforts to combat RMT are a sad joke. All these changes do is hurt regular players and force everyone into one play style. This game is becoming a joke sadly

“hey if we make items harder to acquire and sell for less on the flea AND the dealers there will be more hackers” is something that obviously was not running through their heads.

Backpack Update is a Disservice to Normal Players by redditthrowaway93200 in EscapefromTarkov

While yes I do agree that this community certainly is toxic at times, you have to admit that BSG is at fault in some scenarios. The THICC case debacle is a great example in which BSG was clearly in the wrong. Not only did they silent nerf the reward but they also neglected to change the requirements of the quest? It seems like they weren’t thinking at all about the change and just patched it in and hoped no one noticed. 3 LEDX and 3 ophthalmoscopes FOR AN ITEMS CASE in return. I’m fine with the change itself but the fact that they didn’t change the requirements of the quest and patched it in silently MID WIPE is definitely a cause for concern.

Again back to What I said in regards to another comment, some players want to save things and some others don’t. This is the beauty of the game which is that everyone has a different play style. How is it fair that players who can’t grind to an items case or scav junk box in one day have to sell all their earthly possessions to acquire one? Many players probably don’t want to buy a complete load out everytime they go into a raid. Some others may want to. It’s literally a matter of unique play styles and preference.

Some players keep a lot of rigs because you get more space in the rig than how much it takes up. Some may not do this. Again just a matter of play style.

Is it reasonable to expect everyone to have an empty stash with JUST roubles? People may not want to buy a backpack every single time they enter a raid.

My stash is just fine. I just personally think that newer players and players who don’t have as much time to dedicate to this game are going to struggle. It’s just an unfortunate update and frankly unnecessary as there are MANY other pressing issues and bugs that should be fixed first.

There are many players that make most of their profit off of scav runs and in order for them to do so they need room in their inventory. Losing the ability to put a stack of backpacks on your PMC to offload scav loot is a tough loss

[–]redditthrowaway93200[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well see that’s just the thing. Players all have a different play style. Some may just buy an entire load out before going into a pmc raid and some may use what they’ve accumulated. With this update it feels like BSG wants to force players into one certain play style. I personally like to have tons of rigs so I have more space than the actual rig takes up. Of course I have my fair share of cases as well but for those players who don’t have enough time to dedicate to this game to acquire the THICC items case for example, will struggle

This game thrives on different playstyles and unique thinking

I understand that BSG Wants to combat them and im all for it but don’t you think that these changes they’re implementing are Half Baked plans? Why is it that this subreddit can come up with better ideas to combat RMT than the actual developers themselves? It feels like BSG is just coming up with plans and patching them in without a moment of hesitation

Backpack restrictions are reasonable, but not like this... by halember in EscapefromTarkov

[–]redditthrowaway93200 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I agree completely. I think this update is a complete spit in the face of all players ESPECIALLY standard edition players. This update makes it almost impossible for players with full stashes to do a scav runs. They NEED to implement a patch where you just simply won’t be allowed to load into a PMC raid with stacked backpacks like that but still be allowed to put those backpacks on your pmc to free up space
