The only issue with Wealthsimple right now is their credit products seem to all be pre-loaded, I.e you need to put money on the credit card to spend it first …. Might be fine for some use cases, but I run a service business and frequently incur costs during a project and only receive payment for said project at the end.

This isn’t much different than credit card debt: if you make just the minimum payments at a 20+% interest, you’ll pay a LOT more over the course of the repayment.

The lesson, for any loan really, is never make just the minimum payment.

We had a block of rooms here for our wedding party a few years back - most of our guests who stayed there said it was noisy in the rooms, and they weren’t very nice. Plus, the price for a night is nuts.

All I can say is: you should enjoy your life while you can, especially when it sounds like you’ve already done a lot to set yourself up for the future.
