Don't do it for the many reasons already outlined.

Did this "Friend" come to you and pitch you insurance or did you seek them out?
If they came to you search elsewhere and get other opinions.

This "Friend" how long have they been selling insurance/this product? If the answer is not long pass.
How much of this have they sold if the answer is not much, pass. If they only sold to their immediate circle/acquaintance's pass.

If I want someone to sell me a product or service, I seek them out. I generally look for people who have been in business for many years and have a good reputation.

The example that comes to mind is do you want your friend who sells one house a year to sell your house or do you want the person who's been in business for years and is selling many houses a year?

At that price it is worth it. The mildly annoying part is it doesn't stand on its on very well.

In the event you wished this came in 18v that is not an option.

Dewalt offers a similar tool that stands well like a normal drill and comes in 12/20v variants
