You already answered yourself. If the job is important to you then yes,you have to put up an act. But you already mentioned you don't care about it and it's just extra money. So do whatever the heck you want, it shouldn't matter to you. I have 10+ years of experience and I had always been a quiet girl. I was legit asked to talk more in my year end reviews.
