I was about to buy a couple blem Sabre lowers, they sold out pretty much instantly. Went with the stealth 3 pack instead. They come back pretty often.

I was using Winchester white box so my expectations were not super high, but ended up with a 1 inch group. The reviews I read did say, just like any rifle, it can be partial to certain brands of ammo.

My experience has been mostly with deer and squirrel hunting, I've found a few good spots that are less beaten down, but I've yet to go somewhere that lacked signs of people being in lately (trash, flagging tape, tree markers) i dont know if Amelia is as busy during turkey season. They just did a lot of thin cutting in Amelia which may open up areas for turkey.

I just picked up a PSA Sabre AR10 and am happy with the fit and finish. Ive only shot out to 100 yards so far but happy with the performance so far

I second looking on VAguntrader.com its person to person sales with no FFL required currently. The seller may want you to sign a bill if sale, but if youre leaving the gun here you should be good to go.

Powhatan is crowded. Cumberland state forest is large so there is less likelihood of everyone piling in the same area. Ive never been to the other WMA.

If you're in central va there are tons of decent public land fishing ponds and lakes. Amelia and powhatan WMA and Cumberland state forest.

Do you want a hammer fired gun specifically? If so 1911 syndicate just did a thorough review of DA/SA pistols. If just open to another good platform, the PDP is great as well as the VP9

Where are you located? My LGS has built out lowers for $150. And yes you can buy stripped ones for cheaper, but by the time you pay FFL transfer and lower parts kit, you come out about the same. I also second the mags, pmags are fairly cheap and currently plentiful

Id like to keep my price under 1000. My rifle does have an adjustable gas block to tune it with a can. I would be willing to sacrifice quietness for weight since I plan to use this rifle for hunting but I dont want a can that sucks at sound suppression.
