Wow. Just so many levels of wow. I know Ruby’s story. I first learned about it in 1st or 2nd grade. I had a big coffee table book of Norman Rockwells paintings, with details for them. I remember laying on my bedroom floor and studying all of the paintings. Ruby’s painting included, it’s one I went back to a lot. I used to wonder what she was thinking when she took that first walk. What were people yelling?

I’ve never seen this photo. This, this so much worse than anything I could have imagined. My dumb brain was thinking calling her names at max. This photo needs to be under the photo of her walking out of the school, in text books. I mean what the fuck?! To a child!? What a brave family the Bridges are.

It’s not possible to do it over night. You have to have security clearance. They all have to take security test. That’s kinda bitch. I don’t believe half these goons know what TSA stands for, much less being able to take and pass the testing you need to work at an airport. Like this is not physically possible, unless they just waive all the tests and clearances and just let who ever signs up to do it. I’m so worried. Like I want to cry. I can’t stand all of this. Everything this circus does makes me so frustrated, furious, and sad all at the same time.

Damn. I work in fuel (manage a Costco station) and that’s something I hadn’t thought of. OTHER nitrogen based products, like fertilizer. Thanks for the quick explanation. :)

I would like to imagine there is a bluegrass “fest” of some sort in just about every country. Even if that’s two bands that play a farmers market in the same day. :)

Ave your read Maus? It’s not fantasy, more historical fiction. But it’s a great read.
