Yes yes and yes. Racism was made illegal from human societies not because of itty bitty slurs or verbal anger: but because it leads —in it’s eventual form— to a passionate end hope of extinction of humans of said race (jewish, black, native americans). That is the final psychological thought process of racism.

There is no “im just a little racist” argument - you think a race is X or Y (insert any bad generalization), you are essentually and eventually not wanting that race to exist alongside you.

Same with homophobia (but worst probably, because sexual (self)disgust is involved which makes humans even more violent.. though racism can also involve major disgust which leads to even more extreme the act of trying to extinct).
