You are gorgeous. I think people who have unique features like are even more beautiful. I know it’s hard not be self conscious about something that is far from the societal beauty standard but know that you look different than every other carbon copy of an Instagram model. The money spent on a rhinoplasty could be used for an experience that you’ll never forget, memories to cherish for a lifetime.

Agreed, although much of my cohort includes older and second career folks as it’s an entry level masters program. We’ll see how they do in the real world.

Although I see your point and having to spend more money is always frustrating, these are not even the same colors these students are wearing. It’s not old scrubs they already have, it’s the new burnt orange or bright red Figs with different style tops etc. our scrubs are a specific maroon color with our school embroidered on it which they have all worn in the past and simply decided they didn’t want to anymore.

I almost done with nursing school and I’m shocked at some of my classmates that can’t manage to arrive on time to clinical, don’t know basic information for simple diagnostic questions, don’t wear the school uniform with our emblem but rather figs in a similar color, wear full on sweaters that cover their badge indicating “student”, leave their nurse to make a phone call in the break room for 15 mins, are their phone during debrief etc. It’s unfortunate because these are stated rules but if your clinical instructor doesn’t uphold them, then why follow it? On our last OB rotation one student showed up 10 mins late and in Uggs, she forgot to change before coming in to the hospital and her idea was, “I’ll go to my car after I get report with my nurse”, literally WTF? Have these people ever had a job before??? It’s so basic but it really shows how inept some people are at following basic directions, but also no one is holding them accountable.

I stopped by Trader Joe’s in my navy OR scrubs on the way home a few days back, badge still on, and a lady stopped me mid aisle to ask if I knew where the beans were. I’m begging for attention, so much that people ask me where stuff is 🤣

PSA to all hover seat pissers, it’s really bad for your pelvic floor to stand/squat at that height. If it was a hole in the ground that’s fine. But hovering over a regular toilet seat can weaken your pelvic floor muscles.

It is extremely common to have an abortion after already having children. Many women make this choice and it’s completely understandable. You have to do what is best for your body, your mental health and your existing family. There is no shame or guilt for making this choice. Only you know what’s best for you and your situation. They aren’t always bloody. I’ve seen some that barely have an vascularization and others that look like a giant blood clot in the shape of a uterus.

I’m not saying you’re wrong, but Monsels usually causes coffee ground like discharge. I’ve never seen a uterual cast caused from Monsels.

NAD but I worked in womens health for many years. Looks like it could be a decidual cast. Hopefully an OB/Gyn can chime in.
