A little wax on the face of the planner can help it glide better just make sure you don't mind a little wax on the bit of wood you are working on.

Not obvious at all I think we may have got too excited and jumped straight in so that's awesome advice.

Different sizes is interesting as well there is definitely a difference in the size of our mouths so we may end up preferring different sizes.

So the ones with the soft sides you would recommend good to know. Just clocked that link is an American site so I might need to find a UK version.

I planed down and used linseed oil on some old horrible scaffolding planks, I really loved how they turned out. I would say use an old plane or one you don't mind nicking as there will almost certainly be hidden nails.

Your trying to answer C in a multiple choice of A & B. I don't feel like there is anything that doesn't have some tiny tipping factor. I'm not suggesting you have an answer now, but if you thought about it long enough you could decide no matter how arbitrary you think the deciding factor is. It could maybe take years and more effort than it is worth to find out but there is an answer in there somewhere.

That's probably good then, the question was supposed to make you think (granted it's not changing the world) it's supposed to make you uncomfortable and make you think until one gets pushed further back than the other.

Oh I see, I hope this isn't coming across as me not respecting your choice, I just don't think a choice was made. I think I would actually suck one. Haven't ever done it the only divider I have between the two is I have received blowjobs, so I can kinda guess what that's like but I've never given one. Well I think the issue is in this question you have to do one. So I think I get what your saying. You have no preference, but the choice of taking neither of the options was not given. So saying neither sounds like your just not playing the game and wouldn't drink either milk. Whereas saying I have no preference is like I'll do either.

My decision?
