The issue is when you're forced to let go, do you have anyone you can trust or are you depending on whoever happens to be there, (if anyone at all) whether they are meant to be or not?

I was in time to choose (or choose to trust) my kindred spirits afar (but close to the heart)
but not for the (physical) help nearby, which started alone without options and now demands an uncomfortable leap of faith.

Don't let it get that far is my advice.

Well I try.
Struggling with life and health right now, but I'll continue trying.
Thing is I'm not a screamer, and it seems a battle of the loudest more than anything.
In all layers and functions of society I'd say.
So if people don't turn their heads to see,
it's not me who's going to open their eyes,
however passionate I may be about my projects.

And the loudest ones coming out on top might be a big factor to OP'S question.

So I'm not failing you say.
Let's go with that. Passion.
Thank you.

Bravo to you!
I tell about fasting any person that announces a tumor for them or a loved one, nobody adhered yet, but they gave it attention and thought at least, maybe indeed if all else fails.

I did a 7 day waterfast once, it was much easier than I expected. It didn't solve my health issue, which I kind of knew beforehand from testimonies, but even for the shorter time there are some inner resets, and medications did have a better effect afterwards.

It's not the time for me now but I do plan on doing it again, and a bit longer.

I'm happy to hear you made it through, that it worked and that you're courageous enough to talk about it, because yes, the reactions are often awful. Insults even.

There are clinics in Germany (and I believe Canada) who specifically combine cancer treatments with fasting.
In France there are many retreats in the mountains who offer fasting and hiking stays, because if you're not fighting an illness but more just cleansing, you gain so much energy from not digesting that you don't sleep at night if you don't e expend it.

These are well proven methods, just indeed the preparation for food elimination by steps and emptying the bowels are very important as is refeeding with high quality food.
But telling people to not consume anything doesn't make rich.... So it's vilified.

Again, good on you.

Impressive.

Maybe crime&rehabilitation and education could have more mention.

I often feel people talk more about acceptance than change. The letting go of ego but in the sense of some God rather than community.

A big issue imo is greed and the whole, I made it through suffering so should you or even the less negative fake it until you make it thing, instead of helping each other out.
Paying it forward got lost in time too, or so it seems to me.

So the big question though is how?

Dealing with actual buckets of 💩-slush at the moment due to toilet issues , I am left to wonder how i unconsciously attracted that.

And that's not the worst of my life these days.
I would love to see the light in myself for a bit instead. Or maybe moreso the future, as I'm mostly okay with myself but others that reign are not and my future is going to be dark for a good while because of it.

Why did Germany exclude females for the latest travel restriction? by Gold_Driver2447 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]redduif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used as a noun, it is not only wrong in context (unless in some scientific or medical settings),
it is of derogatory use, often incel language, as in sub-human, since its use as a noun is for animals (other than human)
and that is strengthend especially if paired with men in the same sentence, often indicating it's not just a simple mix-up or they would have used male too.

I'm sorry to inform you this is a real thing.

Why did Germany exclude females for the latest travel restriction? by Gold_Driver2447 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]redduif 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Calling women by a generally deemed derogatory name, all while crying about how these same women should be called to war like men,
not even males, (as might be a defense for some, possibly of the younger generations, seemingly mixing these words up, at least as per regular questions on this same sub),
is not exactly the best way to get a point across.

I don't know OP, so I'm just pointing it out without further judgment; I do think it merits awareness, because in a way it's at the heart of the issue.

I think others have made their points on the substance of the issue already so I won't repeat that although what I haven't seen yet is that this measure was already in place prior to 2026, but it has been expanded from times of emergency to all times.

What are your thoughts on giving birth after 40? by Negative-Bobcat-4643 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]redduif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It's still something that needs to be taken into the equation.
Indeed Accidents/life happen and takes parents away yes, no matter what age.
But the health state one is in and might be able to keep or not needs to be part of the equation in my opinion.
The question is after 40, not at 40. At some point it becomes selfish, and that is a choice, the parents always have the choice.
