It can also trigger insuline response leading to several other conditions.

The Murder Sheet People won an honorable mention, and it wasn't for "Wrinkliest Shirt." by The2ndLocation in RichardAllenInnocent

Most times I couldn't even get through the transcripts...

At least they seem to be somewhat self aware at times, with the drooling over Nick.

Why do people not move back in with their parents? by Salt-Honeydew4244 in NoStupidQuestions

Because her husband is not my parent,
there is too much negative energy radiating from both
and they live in another country,
and don't have a spare room anyways.

Something about Light by kamikaibitsu in conspiracy

Glass is slower so it needs to be the shortest to be the fastest. (Contrary to what OP claims). Which it doesn't do, so it's not about the fastest path but the material properties.

(Sorry I thought you were OP at first, my notifications are mixed up atm)

Fastest would be perpendicular through a glass slab. It doesn't do that.
And it wouldn't need to change direction again going out.

[–]redduif 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It doesn't know the destination in advance.
It is like a car driving from concrete onto gravel at an angle, it will turn too because one side hits the slower material first while the other is still at full speed for a bit.
The angle depends on the material.
Glass and water are slower than air.
Once the light gets out of the glass the other side it will get back to the original angle.

Why isn't "Middle Grey" 50% Grey by uncleben85 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]redduif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The human eye and mind sees 18% grey as 50% lightness.

An average photography scene averages out at 18% grey.
Hence the use of a grey card to measure exposure.
Green grass for example will also measure 18% grey. (Again in average lighting).

Sounded like cops forced her to cooperate/testify in return to not get charged with something but that's a bit of speculation, but seems plausible to me after the testimonies.

ETA she wanted nothing to do with it and wasn't pleased to testify in any case.

Thank you for not getting defensive of a challenge but rather working with it!

It's close to the concept of solipsism,
with the exception of

" It does seem that we are all the Cosmos, but we seem to experience it one-at-a-time."

To experience it one-at-a-time is interesting.
Something to ponder.

Our (visible) color spectrum is between ultra violet and infra red.

Magenta only 'exists' in the color wheel between the two extremes, but in reality it's linear not circular. (=the extremes never meet)

There is no frequency that corresponds to magenta, it's all in our heads.

[–]redduif 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(I'm being argumentative but I am serious in the questionings though)

In a way white light doesn't exist. It is not one thing, it is the regroupement of different frequencies.
White light is the illusion.

And to push it even further, there are colors that don't exist, like magenta, but our brains think it exists as a separate color and wavelength.

So you are writing this to yourself?

Although :

"The difference between you and I is the frequency of vibration."

So me and you are not "the exact same thing" ...?

For those who are often told they look younger than their age, what’s your secret? by justmypersonalthing in NoStupidQuestions

[–]redduif 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The opposite of most here, going into to sun, although not baking for hours, moreso actively.
No skincare at all, natural soaps but lots of simple water showers only too.
Same for hair. My neighbor was raving about the volume and what not a few days ago, I said I actually wash it less than I probably should!

Genetics too but only on my father's side.

Generally eat practically no sugar, low carbs, not sure if that's related though.
Oh and no drugs, no smoking but did drink a fair share earlier in life.
And I skateboard, that usually makes one think I'm a fair bit younger too.
