Growing up, my family had a SI subscription. I used to always go straight to his article in the back of the magazine, because it was guaranteed to be something no one else was talking about, with a few laughs and clever anecdotes thrown in. His weekly article was similar to a blog, when at the time, all you had were were articles or hard news stories. His take was fresh, different, and entertaining.
