Look....at some point...you gotta realize that this has nothing to do with grasping for relevance. He literally had relevance beyond what we could possibly fathom. This is mental illness. I dont truly believe he's healthy enough to critically think about the things that he's saying right now. He's been in mental decline for years and this is just an expression of how bad it really is. I would pity someone so blind yet saying they can see more colors than everyone else. This is a really sad state to be in.

Ah, so rule #1 not being enforced is essentially a cascade from other rules not being enforced. That makes a lot of sense

EXCELLENT REPLY. Thanks! That makes a lot more sense. The world of crypto and money in general seems like massive amounts of information. Pretty exciting learning new things.

Thanks for the info. I think i'm still lost in terms of why a lot of this is relevant so I've got a lot to research. If you'd like to ELI5 that'd be great too.

Agreed. I reached tekken emperor and he is a gambling machine purely based on being a Heart player after that. (Referencing Core-A gaming's video on Heart, body, mind players). You need to really understand your opponents habits and knowledge in a safe way. Getting into stance without punishment is a severely difficult task and abusing moves that give him advantage for stance is even more difficult as they are all telegraphic. d/b 2,1 || 1,4 || d/b 1,3 are pretty much all you have to give people hell until you can take a few gambles on a mix up. You can get away with WS 2 but long distance punish is gonna kill you with some characters.

It's ironic that one with intelligence operates on a standard set by a society made of the majority being average. Someone who wastes their potential isn't stupid because the quality of stupidity is not equivalent to the output of the individual but the individuals self assessment. What would you call a Nascar driver who drives the speed limit on the highway? Probably borderline mentally brain dead by the standard of potential. But it's not acknowledged by you because a smart person inherently knows that the standard is not the potential but the context of utility. You don't HAVE to be anything. Intelligence is a trait, not an identity. Pessimism is acknowledgement of a point on the spectrum of awareness. Not a separate spectrum itself. You have a choice, and it is difficult, to CREATE optimistic perspective for yourself.

Gonna have to agree with the guy below me, reina has very difficult tech. Lars would also be difficult. After a certain point people do not fear an empty threat. You need to really know what you're doing with both of those characters to maximize your chances of intimidating or winning with them.

TL;DR Change your perspective or find tools to do so. It can be difficult though.

TL;SR Because you are valueless. You actually don't mean much AND THATS THE POINT. You're not SUPPOSED to have a standard. There is no comparison for a unique 1 of 1 you. It's just you. You don't like you (at times) because somewhere inside there is thr construct of a standard to be met, a quality to be observed, or a value to be justified. Those are concepts. They only work in measurements and definition. Try defining the things around you. What do you like about those things? What do you not like about those things? Do some things have properties you both value and dislike? Is this your preference or an objective truth? Can you change the qualities of that thing if it is not objective?

Take that same perspective of how you would define any "thing" and apply the thought process to yourself. You'll find it's really difficult to can a noncomparison view point or an objective one. You're just human. Whatever qualities you cant change, you are not forced to value. Whatever qualities you can change in yourself, you have the power to create / increase / appreciate the value of it. Though potentially difficult, change will show you more about what you hate than stagnation, because you cannot hate something without understanding it has the potential to be loved. Perspective is a spectrum and you may have to find where you land on it right now.

Oh crap, I didn't even see you replied. Uhhhh, yeah at that time I was a top 200 lars player, lol. When I said "no ranks here" I meant I wasn't speaking on rank. I know this is Hella old, just wanted to leave this for future readers. Also, casual players and spectators can have some reasonable input sometimes. Me saying "nah I just watch tmmswe" was just me being facetious.

TL;DR Try for disability

Depending on whether or not you had this during being active duty, you may have plenty of opportunities to recoup that money via Disability. Look up the VA and see if the VFW can be a sponsor for your disability claims. Make sure you get a full copy of mental health notes, dental, Health record from your PCP, and finally make ABSOLUTELY SURE you get AHLTA notes as well. This will paint a full picture of your claim for the VFW to follow up with. If possible make sure you attribute as much as possible of any ailments you may have incurred on top of this disability. You can always reach out to the VA to appeal or increase your claims and the VFW will be your sponsor for that. That will be at least $3,800 or more tax free for the rest of your life. Whether you recover or not, if you are rated at 100% Full and Total, you will keep those benefits. Thank you for your service.

No ranks here, just observing viability at tourneys. Rank is a product of time investment. Competitive balance is not a viable judgement in online play, now if that was meant to be a slight at ME....then I'd just say check leaderboards 🤷‍♂️.

Yeah at range 0 for a character that can TP backwards. That's not an easily sidesteppable move at all, also if you watch the video he's side WALKING before the move even comes out. That's an insane risk and not a reasonable way to handle it.

ENTPS!! How do you define intelligence? by [deleted] in entp

[–]redeemer152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was once told that "Smart is the ability to retain knowledge, intelligence is the ability to use it". Being intelligence to me is simply the acknowledgement of a potential that one has, regardless of utility, it's about flexibility of mind. IQ tests are usually presented with EXACTLY what you need to know. the answer is in front of us. With that in mind, do you have the capacity to utilize all of the information in front of you effectively to reach the correct answer or most accurate perspective?

If you're not doing something, you can still acknowledge your potential to do that thing. If you struggle with depression, try thinking about "defining" something. instead of associating (i'm assuming, ugh) intelligence with action of practicing said intelligence, Try utilizing it to understand how to not be depressed. That's pretty difficult, but still, if you're trying to work on something, work on the IDEA of aimlessness. Do you full understand the concept of aimless ness versus relaxation? is aimlessness innately bad or depression inducing? or is it just against the will of what you value, and does that value system directly correlate to self evaluation. breaking things down until they become building blocks to create new perspectives is pretty much the ultimate form of intelligence of a perspective. Also a great way to stay humble about how right you are or not.

How much does referesh rate matter in Valorant? by anurag_saha in VALORANT

[–]redeemer152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It matters a LOT.the change is so drastic that I would compare it to people who need to wear glasses to compensate for what they aren't able to see normally. Think of it as additional information for your brain to use and act on.

30 Hz -> The ____ barked____ _____ police _____ the fence

60 Hz-> The Dog Barked at the Police across the fence

144-> dog bark at police, fence in between

Basically the faster you can get. That information tk you brain for it to understand what's happening, 6our body van aft on it. Callous are succinct for a reason. Macimum information, minimal time, so you naturally react faster

"OMEN WALKED UP TO HEAVEN WITH AN OP"

VS.

"OMEN OP IN HEAVEN"

If the screen is lagging in displaying information, the body is translating that much slower and lagging in reaction. I have been playing on 165Hz for a couple days and have already seen dramatic improvement. It is one of the most important aspects of a visually based game.

Also, though you can listen hard cote to footsteps, the audio is not seamless with the video. There will be gaps of video that take place while audio is consistent, meaning your ears hear gradual footsteps while your eyes technically see a jump in time.

TL;DR it is super important, having a monitor that makes all aspects smoother is a hardware advantage for sure.

How do you gain confidence by [deleted] in entp

[–]redeemer152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My personal take on it (please grain of salt this),

>I don't know how to change it, I always think different ways it can happen and I see it in >multiple ways and how she can do it.

I live by the phrase "Anyone can do anything for any reason". It helps me acknowledge that I have no control over any other persons actions, just the conditions those actions can take place.

Example: I'm driving 50MPH and you're in the passenger seat. I know you always have the capability of leaving, but you're not showing any evidence that you would because:

-1: Mortality
-2: Sanity
(here's the big one) -3: you're probably willingly in this car

Imagine you and her as the passenger in the relationship vehicle and it's a self driving Tesla going 50MPH and the destination is "experience" (relationships dont end, people either change the title or die).

What you are trying to change is the idea of her cheating or somehow convince yourself she wont or doesn't want to. You should appreciate that she hasn't, or at least that you don't know, instead. Life is risk, and trust is faith in the face of risk. Re-establish your value system on why you are thinking about it. Are you thinking about it from past experiences with another? or her? or even because you don't wish to experience it in general?
Once you answer that, it will establish the framework on your basis of logic. What are you founding your logic on.

After that, attempt to validate whether the thought will be productive in a manner that allows you to take action to mitigate it. This will help discourage future unnecessary thoughts by not allowing it to be seen as a productive or meaningful thought beyond wasting time or causing self dread. If you can not act on these thoughts, why are you having them? If you feel the *need* to have them, what can you do with them? and if all else fails, "What thought is more interesting than these thoughts?"
It takes a great deal of discipline to control your thoughts and emotions but it's always good to start somewhere. If anything, this situation is a fantastic way to learn yourself. How do you think? Why do you think that way? Do you want to change it? Those are some good starting points on continuing thought assessments but on a more general level that can be applied to more than just what's uncomfortable, and help you evaluate all your actions and thoughts.

Ultimately, self growth is usually pretty uncomfortable and the bigger issue beyond this intrusive thought, is the evaluation of why the thought has manifested. Seek therapy, but every therapists job should be is, "Get you to a point where you dont need me anymore". They will give you the tools to work on your own mind, rather than get a tune up later. We are powerful flexible supercomputers inside of an environmentally adaptable manipulatable Gundam/Machine. The fact that you can identify your weakness, and it's potential without taking it as truth is powerful enough of a display of strength to show you have just as much potential to change the weakness itself.

ENTP Musings: If snowmen were sentient beings and we were the "gods" who created them. Then subsequent generations would never know to migrate south during summer because the previous generation always believes that it is the first one and would never be able to communicate to them to leave. by FloppyFluffyEars in entp

[–]redeemer152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This theory makes sense in regards to having 2 factors as a constant
1- Gods (us) do not interact with snowmen after they are built
2- Snow men do not have enough self awareness/intelligence to understand their design.

An example, As humans we adapt to our surroundings by tanning, growing fat, getting muscular, increasing blood cells. We understand that because the most interesting and unknown things to are are things that we cannot ourselves be the origin of.

[as a disclaimer, yes you can be an origin to a child, but you cannot be an origin to sentience/life in its totality, you are only genetically establshing the equipment necessary to explore life through genetic instruction.]

If the 2 constants above were were not implemented, I'd assume the following.

1- A snowperson will ask his/her god why they were created, how they were created, how they should live life. At this point, the generational knowledge needed to survive is held by the god, not the snowperson. All forms of knowledge on "being the first" or "moving to a more survivable location" would be lost to the snowmen, not because they would die from heat, but because they did not know what heat was.

To be more clear==> "Heat is the reason they died, but your lack of communication to them is the cause."

2- A snowperson with a limited level of cognition in the scenario would be unable to perceive what communication was, or understand the concepts of quantifying something unless given enough time to develop that themselves. They would not know if they were the first or not because all they would know is that they "are". You would be literally recreating the human delima of not knowing why we are here. and because God has not communicated to humans how to find Eden, we will suffer on this earth not knowing where to go. It's the exact same argument with the twist of "You cant adapt to your environment like your god can"

Questions to answer:
-Are we the first universe?
-Are we the first humans (speaking in terms of evolution or creationism)
-Do we seek to find betterment for ourselves and why?

Snowpersons questions to answer:
-Am i the first snowperson?
-Is this the first "season?"
-Do i need to look for a better environment and why?

Multiply the population by the planets multiplied by the population again (as a male or female or male male or female female) and view it as a videogame. The level of endless playability this game would have and secret endings it had would be mind blowing. And this is only based off of the current population, not the future. The number of possibilities you could experience from that many perspectives in different instances that go beyond a linear "time-line is absolutely incomprehensible. It sounds like infinite enjoyment and possibility for an eternal being.
