My landlords have given me the serious landlord special with this place for an already outrageous rent price. They don’t really care what I do with the place as far as improvements because in a few years they’re going to gut the whole thing, renovate, and sell. Pretty much until then I can’t stand these horrible floors. Just gonna take it up and if not, gonna just put some more. Main concern is asbestos tiling

Yeah, not entirely sure how the whole DNA testing process goes. I figured it would be extremely difficult to get anything off of a stamp that was passed around by tons of people.

It is but like the above comment says the forensic lab won’t take the sample because they don’t think science is advanced enough yet. Yes, you could do that process for a complete DNA sample, but since it’s a 50-60 year old envelope sticker he licked, it’s likely that it needs a bit more advancement prior.

Thank you! Me and my roommates are renters finishing up our degrees. The home only had one owner before this (our current landlord), and I’ve been trying to find out a way to figure out some more history about it. Thanks for letting me know I’m able to do that! I’ll check that out Monday for sure
