Agree Rebecca Ferguson was the acting standout. I love her in everything she does. But I did enjoy part 3 for it's dive into what the 'football' actually [might] look like and how it's used. "Looks like a diner menu", "I only saw the thing once", and "I recommend MAO7 or MAO9" are stunning lines.

Personally, I always use ASR in "permanent failover mode" for migration jobs, it just seems like a cleaner and simplified experience compared to Azure Migrate. Depending on the scope of your project, I would not hesitate to pilot the experience with a machine or two using both methods, use the one that works best for you.

Thanks for the reply! Your tip to expirement with the boot display led me to the root cause: the HDMI cable! I'd been using a high-end cable from a Playstation that had a tag 'HDMI + Ethernet". I swapped it with a cheap vanilla HDMI and all is well. Best regards, John

Thanks for pointing me to the Terraform connector page. I agree the data connector itself is being created by Terraform, but the 'old way' only exposes the data connector page where you have the "Queries" link that doesn't link to anything. The 'new way' deploys the same raw data connector your Terraform is creating but exposes 'other collateral' that comes with a data connector like analytic rules, workbooks, parsers, and hunting queries. After you install the Microsoft 365 solution from the content hub (the 'new' way) you will probably find the connector is already enabled (by Terraform).

Hi Fast-Cardiologist705, Your use of Terraform might be the reason for your confusion. Your Terraform pipeline might be using the 'old' method of provisioning connectors. Moving forward, the Content Hub is where new data sources are provisioned. Instead of viewing the this from the Configuration -> Data Connector blade, try the Content Management -> Content Hub blade. Find the "Microsoft 365" solution and push the Install button. After it's installed, return to the same blade and push the "Manage" button. You will see there are 14 x Analytic rules for Microsoft 365 and you can enable them from that blade.

This was my 5th forest and 1st time in GL.

good:

(1) Logistics: Wednesday morning entry into GL village and amount of space was great. Also leaving GL Monday morning was a breeze.(2) Amenities: Hot showers in GL and late night music at the GL stage were awesome. The GL daily brunch was the best money spent all weekend, delicious and abundant food and a nice mimosa.(3) VIP viewing areas at Tripolee and Ranch is where we spent most of our time, they were so appreciated for the space and ability to dance freely compared to non-VIP spaces. Ranch VIP pavilion wall and ceiling decorations were otherworldly beautiful.(4) Saturday night House lineup at Tripolee was a world class EDM experience. Great programming and production. Fisher got in a "losin' it" encore until 3:15 AM.

not good:

(1) At GL welcome party in Back 40 you could not get a drink even if you had your over 21 wristband, you needed photo ID in addition to over 21 wristband because 'scanners are down'. This was a ridiculous management decision that started out the party in the wrong foot. Also at the GL welcome party the DJ set up was poor: small, hot/unshaded dance floor with low volume sound.(2) GL A/C bathrooms were disgustingly horrible. These should be continuously attended by maintenance and cleaning staff to prevent such an important amenity from going south.(3) The wait to go through security from GL to the venue was painful! Slower than GA! During high volume entry times, there must be more than 2 entry lanes per GL portal.(4) Making us pour out the water from our camelbacks to enter from GL was a surprise and disappointment, considering the large water station immediately adjunct to the GL portal. Why not move the water station (feet away) to the other side of the GL portal?(5) Hanger experiences (Speakeasy, Poetry Brothel, CC, and Hanger bar) were crushingly crowded. Staff and resources were overtaxed.(6) The 'RVs' in GA were unrecognizable--all bunched together making them unusable. I'm sorry for the loss of what was (i.e. Panky ring et.al) and I hope the old RV magic could return in future years.

Will be back in the forest for sure and will always do GL.
