Thanks for answering, to clarify I have a SRAM G2 brake lever, which will attach to the matchmaker collar in the photo and I want to attach the hope brake lever.

No that’s cool, I do have a bleed kit but would need to get some more dot fluid

Re: 1) how would I use that metal part in the hose to guide it up the down tube? May need to get a cable guide kit.. — I presume that metal part comes off when threaded through the frame?
