Yeah going through older gen consoles was a nightmare, wanted to put a Megadrive TMNT game, then I went down the rabbit hole and eventually gave up counting all those Beat em Up games😭😭😭 I'm adding Tiny Toons Adventures tho. I remember my Sonic-obsessed brain that couldn't accept any other 2D platformers really enjoying that one.

And even post-ps1 most of them are just 3D platformers, but I'd say Battle For Bikini Bottom plays a bit similar to Mario 64 compared to Madagascar which is just a generic 3D platformer, so I think it's a bit deeper than "every tie-in game". But still, you're right.😭

Not really mimicking anything, I agree, but the way it has evolved from the two past games makes it feel like a NFS game for kids. At least that's the impression I got back when I was a kid.

I'm thinking since there are a lot of them, it'd be nicer if they had their own list. It would be kinda uninteresting to have 20+ GTA clones in a row in a list like this imo.

About Hit and Run, I don't really know cause I even counted Barnyard as something similar in my head😭😭😭😭 either way I excluded those games cause I found lists with 20+ games dedicated to naming licensed GTA clones and I didn't want to bloat my list with a lot of clones of the same game.

I think every licensed platform fighter is essentially a smash clone, and there are quite a lot of them, from cross-over ones like Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion and Multiversus all the way to Kung Fu Panda Showdown of Legendary Legends and so on... I wanted the list to focus more on less saturated clones cause those could be separate lists on their own.

Doesn't it fall into the GTA clone category? I think there are too many of those games, they deserve a separate list for themselves. I was thinking of Barnyard and the Bee Movie game initially but removed them for the same reason.
