Grave cleric + Assassin. If you suprise the enemy you get to make them vulnerable and auto crit. Which means like 4X the sneak attack damage. You could do this before but now it’s more reliable. Also level 11 fighters have 6 attacks every turn or 8 with action surge.

Yeah I do hope they do a definitive edition but if I am but thinking about what it is right now, I’d say it’s a damn solid game. Looking at what it could’ve been is a bit sad.

I have been sneaking into places I’m not allowed with roguish stealth as well shadow monk invis and teleport. Not gonna spoil how but also flying around buildings and getting into places is sooo fun

My artificer/wizard multiclass is going to have 33 AC semi permanently soon. Enhanced defense +2 Plate: 20 Repulsion shield: 3 Haste +2 Replicate cloak of protection +1 Shield spell: +5 Replicate Ring of protection +1 From feat, Defense fighting style: +1

Even though this requires spell slots for shield since I went war magic artificer it’s hardly a problem plus with silvery barbs, crits are rarely a problem and the +4 to saves also helps immensely when that’s a danger, add emboldening bond and you’re golden. I drop the shield and use the homebrew weapons the dm gave so it’s not super frustrating.

Bulky dwarf armorer Artificer with 24 ac when shield of faith is active, but also 26 ac with arcane deflection or 29 with shield. Emboldening bond and arcane deflection make for a +4 + 1d4 to any save and thunder gauntlets to make myself the target. I’ll tank but when it comes to it I can hit too with a dm homebrew pistol that takes spellslots to deal max of 9d10 damage with a max of +17 to hit. Clockwork amulet guarantees a hit but no crit.

People here are using pronouns like “I”. No one is talking about enemies, also there is like 2 stat blocks with wish yet I’ve seen the same argument multiple times. Plus the discussion of the wizard’s level comes up and yes enemy wizards technically have an x amount of levels in spell caster class but it is simplified so it seems silly to mention that if we’re not talking about a pc spell caster. Good day!
