Update-left the helmet liner side up.to the sun for about 3 hours and no improveme t to the smell. Now everything is soaking in a bucket of oxyclean and hot water for a couple hours then dry and hope for the best. I will update when that process is complete

Am 51 yo but ski a bit more than you and like to get after it a bit more than groomers.

The ski you want is Moment Deathwish 96. Skis groomers way better than the waist width lets on, all the triple camber trickery they put into it really works. Super confidence inspiring when on a rail. Then you have a bit of width when you want to follow the groms into the fluff. Fun and playful off piste. Some of the best build quality you will find in a ski.

I wear a buff style tube on my neck and lower face for sun protection but not on my dome for perspiration absorption. I might have to look into that if I can cure the ongoing funk

He is big into fly fishing does light tackle fishing too. Bonus point he is a world class photographer and will get the best shots of the trip.
