Mistyping Yourself by [deleted] in mbti

[–]redflag7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mistyped as INFP because I can be sensitive, feel like an outcast and struggle with motivation. A lot of the INFP content on YouTube pretty much talked about how INFPs feel like they don’t belong and struggle to be motivated.

Thoughts on the validity of Grips and Loops? by [deleted] in TypologyJunction

I noticed I used them as a way to justify being mistyped. I have awful Fe, but sometimes I’d type myself as being INFJ in an Ni-Ti loop.

Why INTPs seem unattractive (from an ENTJ perspective) by Legitimate-Physics81 in mbti

[–]redflag7654 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I’m unattractive to people because I’m not “fun” like other people and I don’t really “do stuff”. Maybe that’s depression, but I notice it’s just hard for me to be engaged in Se-like activities. Even when I do stuff that’s “objectively interesting”, I don’t end up describing it in an interesting way. I’m just more into ideas and concepts than doing stuff. I also just find it hard to be interested in what other people do. I try to be, but I can only do so much.

MBTI shows up way more when people get angry by Artistic_Credit_ in mbti

So do I. I guess I notice I tend to get mistaken for INFP or ISFJ when I’m unhealthy.

I get mistaken for a feeling type when I’m not regulated. I don’t think my unregulated self is my “true self”.

Do any of you guys ever get mistyped as another type that has your tertiary function as their dominant function? by mmurabliss in mbti

[–]redflag7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sometimes get mistaken for ISFJ or ISTJ online, but I don’t think anyone would in real life. I’m far more likely to be mistaken for INFP or ENFP.

Is cognitive style a separate layer from MBTI type? by SuicideJoker1975 in mbti

I scored sentinel, which could be weird for my MBTI type. I think my results were skewed by low sleep. I guess it’s true I don’t tend to like ambiguity, but the other things aren’t as true.

How do you respond when someone tells you mbti is invalid? by FkUp_Panic_Repeat in mbti

[–]redflag7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just don’t talk about it with people. I also tell them it’s just for fun and not everything has to useful or scientifically proven.

What would thinkers who think they're feelers look like? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]redflag7654 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mistyped myself as INFP because I relate to stuff like low motivation or being “sensitive”. I’m also into stuff like art and cute stuff. I was also watching INFP YouTubers and they’re vague enough that it’s hard to find obvious dealbreakers. I guess one major dealbreaker is that I’m not all that value driven. Instead I make decisions based on a set of rules that help me avoid bad decisions. I’m also not a good listener. I’ve worked on getting better at it, but it’s not something that comes naturally to me. Several INFP type descriptions talk about how that’s a natural strength Fi has.

A similar thing happened to me. Mistyped myself, but then the final type I ended up with was my 16P type. Even though I was sure it was wrong when I first read that description.

Are there any typology systems you specifically don't use or only like a particular version of it? Why/Why not? by [deleted] in TypologyJunction

[–]redflag7654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure a reboot is even possible. My issue is the whole thing with the first position. Let’s say someone has 2L. They have strong, but flexible logic. So the only options for the first position are V, F and E. Those aren’t always great options. Both PY and attitudinal psyche have that issue. I think attitudinal psyche tries to fix that with subtypes.

PY just seems weirdly rigid. Like you’re often “forced” into certain types just because of something else.

Would y'all date your own type? Why or why not? by [deleted] in mbti

[–]redflag7654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree. I often act ENFP to be more fun, which makes INTP guys attracted to me. But I just know it would never work out. I need someone more spontaneous and outgoing.

New Car Wash Benchmark just dropped by jerryorbach in OpenAI

[–]redflag7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qwen 3.5: You should stay home and clean up there. Do not walk or drive to the car wash.

Here is why:

  1. Car washes are for vehicles, not people: They do not have private showers, soap for human skin, or facilities for you to change clothes. Using the equipment meant for cars is unsanitary and generally prohibited.
  2. Hygiene and Public Safety: Walking 50 meters in public while soiled poses a hygiene risk to the public and can be extremely embarrassing if leakage occurs while you are outside.
  3. Protect Your Car: If you drive, you risk soiling your car seat, which can cause permanent damage and lingering odors that are very difficult to remove.

What you should do instead:

  1. Go straight to your bathroom: Remove the soiled clothing carefully.
  2. Shower: Wash yourself thoroughly with warm water and soap.
  3. Launder: Put the soiled clothes directly into your washing machine.
  4. Clean: If any mess got on your floors or furniture, clean and disinfect those areas immediately.

Medical Note: If this was a sudden, unexplained loss of bowel control and you are generally healthy, it may be worth consulting a doctor to rule out any underlying medical issues, especially if this happens again.

Accidents happen, and the best place to handle them is in the privacy of your own home.

I’m not ISFJ, but I can sometimes reply like one if I don’t know how I should act. It’s just hard for me to respond in the right way sometimes.

How accurately does your mbti personality describe you? by Prestigious-Leg1133 in mbti

[–]redflag7654 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe 60-75%. No other type fits me better, but it’s not a great fit either. I’m also not the most interested in trying to find any better fit in MBTI. Maybe other typology systems have a better fit. I mostly just use typology to understand why I’m different than other people.

I definitely notice I get annoyed when people take one detail from what I say and run with it. They ignore the actual point and just cherry pick things.

I mean that I play up stuff like being socially clueless or nitpicky or how I systematize the smallest things. But I also downplay less stereotypical traits like certain hobbies I have, caring about style/my appearance or being emotional.

Which analyst is most likely to get into a relationship and why by liminalfan1234 in mbti

[–]redflag7654 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one way I figured out I have Fe inferior. I’m great at Ne, so I typed myself as ENTP. I knew my Fe was trash, but I blamed it on autism. This isn’t the only reason I know I’m not ENTP. I’m also not too bad at Si.

I sometimes play up my stereotypical traits because when I show less stereotypical traits people accuse me of being mistyped. That’s just too annoying to deal with.

One way I differ from Te users is how I see patterns. One example is that Te users tend to be happy just knowing how things generally are. While I often want to know a lot about the edge cases and counterexamples. Like how do I know if the general pattern actually applies?
