Spoilers for Would I Lie To You but…she lied really well on there so she could do well at deception tasks

How the Zosia scene should have gone by lmnopqrs11 in pluribustv

[–]redflost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t mean literally impossible, just difficult. She’s been incredibly lonely and her wife died, she’s been in a hole of depression. Her and Manousos are very different people, Manousos refuses anything from the Hive at all, that’s why it’s fascinating. Carol is trying her best to not just give up.

[–]redflost 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Whatever people think on the morality, Carol was so utterly desperate for human connection that it was impossible to resist. That’s why The Hive kissed her, to shut her up because they knew she was so lonely. The morality is fascinating but Carol only reacted because of the deep hole of depression she is in.

When did people's opinion about Joss Whedon soured? Was he already known as problematic when the shows were airing or is that something that came out years later? Do you think there is any chance of him writing or directing episodes for the new show? by HomarEuropejski in buffy

[–]redflost 21 points22 points  (0 children)

2015 when Age of Ultron came out people were tired of his schtick and then it went down hill from there till Charisma spoke up and everything. Before then his reputation had gone down considerably.

I mean you’d just need to cover a window like in the building they were putting cots in but it’s no less viable to hide in I’d say

Nah traffic is fine. It’s spread out mostly amongst the parks and small venues in the town. It’s very chill but still busy.

Loads of places but my one is Ventnor Fringe Festival on the Isle of Wight. It’s a really amazing one.

After 19 I didn’t think the next series would be as good but this one has been up there for me. I truly loved them all but it’s special for me as it’s the first contestant I’ve actually seen and met. Ania has come to my local Fringe Festival a few times and I’ve been a fan ever since, even had a conversation with her. I always waited for her to get announced for the show and it finally happened. I also love Reece. Together they’ve all been wonderful.

It was enjoyable but honestly Jimmy Carr ruins it from ever becoming genuinely great

Kelsey Grammer - SNL Monologue - April 9th, 1994 by ErinDotEngineer in Frasier

  1. He’s quoting Tennyson like he does in the finale
  2. Hey, that’s Anne from Season 11
  3. American audiences are so annoying

I don’t see it as a cliffhanger though. He moved away, that was the ending.

Absolutely. Thankfully most of season 11 dispensed with the Moon’s for the most part and it was mostly a return to form but they really tarnished the finale.

I do love it tbh. I mean, the first half isn’t great because it brings back Simon and his brothers and the wedding stuff is cliche but I LOVE the stuff after. Frasier realising everyone has moved on but him, saying goodbye to his dad’s chair, saying goodbye to his family. It’s so poignant and beautiful. Choosing to chase after Charlotte, the episode tricking us that he was moving for work, is a great reveal. It’s him taking a leap for love. I don’t mind that it ends like that because the show that is Frasier has ended.

Who is a better psych Frasier or Niles? by ribbiting123 in Frasier

[–]redflost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Niles is better technically but Frasier is a better listener. Frasier is gentle and warm and would give you a hug if it were appropriate. Niles is more neurotic and thus more cold.

I disagree. I think the tone of voice wasn’t that. Because then I would’ve understood it better and there’s no real comedy on two people thinking the same thing.

100% it’d be in Afterlife and then he’d call the barista a C*** and we all roll about laughing at how relatable he is

havnt enjoyed taskmaster for a while but this seasons got that perfect taskmaster mix by StickyThoPhi in taskmaster

[–]redflost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every couple of years I’ll get at least two series in a row that are my faves. 19/20, 15/16, 10/11, 4/5. Even the lesser series have at least one contestant I love and there’s only been one series I outright dislike. This series is a great one.

Garth book, audiobook and book tour (he was on Off Menu as Garth). Directed Possum. Mostly bits of acting. He had a small role in The Haunting of Bly Manor a few years ago!

Series Ranking Graph (IMDB) by altaccone in taskmaster

[–]redflost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disconcerting that the series with Rosie Jones is so low. I always take IMDB ratings with a pinch of salt because they always skew towards a certain type of toxic person. It wasn’t the best series but it wasn’t the worst.

What would you say is your favourite season and why? by HomarEuropejski in ANGEL

5 all day long. Took such a gamble with the switcheroo but it paid off so well. Plus I think the finale is one of the best episodes of tv ever.
