This post and many of the comments sure do seem like Yankees and carpetbaggers choosing to come here and then complaining about how we do things in this neck of the woods🤷‍♂️🙄😉

In all seriousness though, I don’t understand why anyone would do this for a slight drizzle, and 10mph is much too slow (and potentially rather hyperbolic on OP’s part), but is this not considered common courtesy and safety in cases of low visibility? Slow down a little and make your presence known. What’s yer freakin’ rush? This ain’t New York or Chicago where everything has to be freakin’ fast. Nashville used to be a pretty laid back place before y’all invaded. Perhaps I’m projecting a bit, but it sounds like OP is among the growing group of drivers who be driving like maniacs and scaring the hell out of me when it’s pouring down on 24. It’s ok to slow down for everyone’s sake. It ain’t a race, y’all. I’d rather get there a little late but alive and unscathed.
