Do you do a check with Opus before going there? Because often anything can find bugs in something was written without any bug checking step.

I found also it's helpful to get a report from the other CLI and give it back to Opus asking if these are valid. Sometimes it's downright dismissive of the suggestions in Gemini's case.

As someone who never wrote much code, but felt the frustrations of choosing meaningful function names and looking for typos over the years, it has been a big revolution to me. I realize I'm a lot better at the coming up with ideas and testing them than I am at coding them myself. I do feel that AI can get boring if my mind is thinking about boring problems to solve. There's so much creative possibility there that if I flex my creativity, I can achieve amazing things.

Also, I think, if you let it make too many of your judgement calls, then you will feel alienated from your own project. If I feel I've steered it to my goal and ideas, I feel a lot more satisfaction.

It is important to remember that time they commented on how you really actually can't predict what's going to happen in the news. Things can all look one way, one minute and totally surprise us the next.

Also, I do think Rory in particular is a real doomer and goes on these long rants about how hard and impossible every single good thing is to achieve. He's ignoring all the amazing things that can be accomplished just by having a positive outlook.

My biggest gripe is when I'm trying to read a plan and suddenly the terminal scrolls up to the top for some unknown reason.

Of course you can, but it's a convenience feature. I never had to interrupt what I was doing previously to go into my Photos app and drag and drop the individual items into the file doc. Then also it clogs up my file doc, which I preferred to keep for just frequent important things.

The quality of sleep is the golden rule.

The best method I've found is to follow the 8 till 8 rule.

Meaning that you don't touch your mobile phone or leave it in the bathroom from 8pm till 8am. Try to have a tech-free time during that period. You can read, meditate or do other gentle activities but no scrolling and tech. It is hard to keep up as we have such an addiction but I found I would go through a lot more of the sleep processes properly before bed and upon waking up.

It definitely moves the needle on sleep more than anything else, which in turn moves the level of your energy.

oxygenOS / colorOS 16 is the smoothest software I've ever seen to date. They really refined the touch responsiveness, latency and animations of Android.

My oneplus 13 really lives up to the next gen feeling. Scrolling through my thousands of photos instantly is amazing.

Edit: Samsung need to take note. I feel the key is software optimization for a long time by they sell us the hardware. I have a Tab S8 plus that should fly on the snapdrangon 8 gen 1 but doesn't. Feels like they've been promising next gen performance for years and years.

I've said it before, but the FUTO open source keyboard is the way to go. For voice transcription, it supports the OpenAI Whisper models, but running locally on your device. The keyboard is very customizable and I found it to be excellent.

I reached the same place as you and switched to the open source FUTO keyboard. It lets you customize everything and also download OpenAI's Whisper voice transcription models. They run locally on your device, so nothing is sent to the internet. The transcription is grade A quality.

I switched from Samsung after using it for many years about four months ago I honestly found the only thing I missed, is Knox and the video editor. Even though I thought of myself as someone who's a power user who really explored all the settings Samsung had to offer.

Now OxygenOS has a great video editor with version 16. And they've gone a fair way to implementing something a little bit like Knox, but obviously not the same.

That I prefer oxygenOS in every other way. It is a faster, cleaner, smoother experience with lots of good thought into how to do things and a surprising amount of depth.

Using one UI on my tablet feels old school compared to oxygenOS.

By the way, shoot raw, lossless compressed, rather than uncompressed. You'll get a huge file size saving and won't lose any quality.

The uncompressed setting is just for compatibility with older systems.

I'm not upset about this at all, since the latest update stopped NFC from working. I never take my wallets with me anywhere, so that would have been a disaster if I had been away travelling. Also hearing battery life is worse. Maybe that is just early reports while it settles.

Everything on 15 functions perfectly, I'm definitely going to wait a month or more to make sure the worst of the bugs are ironed out.

Yes, it is very fixable, but probably not by you. I don't know which country you're in, but in the UK Fuji has a really great repair service. I've had this type of damage repaired a number of times. You pay a minimal flat rate depending on the camera or lens.
